After Chantal is found and Keith is killed, the friends face a tough challenge, as they have to bury a body before sunrise.

The friends set out to cover up Keith's murder and take Chantal home, but they run into some obstacles during their mission.

Following the murder, the gang tries to get back to their normal lives, but it turns out to be much more difficult than they thought.

The gang faces a hard time when they are forced to make choices based on fear, while Dory and Keith's ex-wife come face to face.

In order to thank them for their efforts to find Chantal, the friends get an invitation to receive the key to the city of Chappaqua.

The friends turn their backs on Dory, while Elliott falls into madness. Dory joins Julian in a political campaign.

Dory attends Keith's funeral. Portia cuts ties with her mom. At rehab, Elliott goes to group therapy. Julian discovers that Mary is not perfect.

After they are visited by Officer Joy Hartman, Dory and Drew get together with Elliott, while they also manage to attend Portia's play.

The friends find themselves facing various mishaps while trying to come up with the money for the guy who's blackmailing them.

The group tries to close the unfinished business in their lives before dealing with the possibility of going to prison in the middle of the night.
