As four aliens travel to Earth on a mission to monitor human behavior, they pass themselves off as a human family, which leads to funny consequences.

In season 2, the four extraterrestrials, Sally, Harry, Tommy, and Dick, continue their attempts to adapt to human life in the midst of endless chaos, including living with Dick's replacement, discovering strange sci-fi conventions, and getting involved in endless emotional problems.

In season 3, the alien family returns to Earth with Jane, the new wife chosen for Dick by the Big Giant Head, and they get into strange situations while trying to adapt to human life.

Mr. Solomon's alien family faces a major challenge when Harry is abducted, and amid the family's attempts to recover him, Dick becomes hysterical and loses his mind during the adventure.

In season 5, the alien family's adventures on Earth brings new surprises, as Dick, the team leader, faces many crises and tries to understand human feelings with his strange family, while Sally learns about life in a unique way through them.

3rd Rock from the Sun S6

In season 6, the lives of the four aliens disguised as a human family take a new turn, when they go to a parallel world in New York City and get a perfect life, while Sally focuses her supernatural powers in order to help change the course of events.
