Fiona gets involved in managing a new apartment building. She gets to know the new residents and faces the neighborhood's challenges. A special relationship develops between her and Ford, the mysterious carpenter who helps her solve the problems of annoying tenants. Meanwhile, her brother Ian cooperates with a center to help the homeless.
