A crime drama series that chronicles the life of Ray Donovan, a fixer who can help solve any problem, except for his own family's problems. He has to cope with his father's release from prison and Bridget's wish to get into Bel-Air Academy, all while taking care of his own cases at work.
In season 2, as Ray's life begins to return to normal again, the FBI asks him to go and bring Mickey back from Mexico.
As Ray mourns Ezra, he is hired to retrieve the kidnapped son of Andrew Finney, a job that opens the door to longterm cooperation.
As Ray is forced to confront his past and struggle with personal issues, he also has to juggle professional trouble between his inability to have steady work and the Russian mob's pursuit of him. Meanwhile, Abby deals with the aftermath of a troubling medical diagnosis.
In season 5, Ray undergoes therapy sessions due to his constant tantrums, and at the same time, his family prepares for Terry's wedding, and tries to deal with new developments.
