While Fiona is traveling to New York to continue working on her book, Austen sends Kip off to a camp for sexual reorientation, where she meets Camilla Bowner, Kip's psychotherapist, who recommends a significant adjustment to hasten Kip's recovery.

Upon discovering Camilla's true involvement in Kip's recuperation, Fiona determines she needs to take swift action to counter. Fiona, meanwhile, finds it offensive when Maxine and Jerome alter her novel.

Now that Maxine is no longer a threat to her book, Fiona has to deal with Robin, who uses extortion to get Fiona to work for him on Kip's campaign. Ben, Kip's campaign manager, discovers that Fiona's Web Therapy company lacks accreditation and notifies her that she must stop seeing patients.

Fiona gives her sister Shevaun the responsibility of signing the accreditation form to get Web Therapy recognized. Shevaun determines that Fiona must complete the suggested 50-minute sessions before she can sign the paperwork. Now jobless, Gina seeks to get a job through Fiona's assistance.

As a reporter begins questioning Fiona, she posts an erotic narrative about Fiona on her blog, whereupon Allegra Favreau, a recently sober television actress, offers to represent Fiona's book for a movie.

Gina needs a job, and Fiona helps her find one in Alaska. Allegra gets ready to play Fiona, but she demands that she travel to Los Angeles first. The entire trip takes a disastrous turn when Jerome invites an unwanted Hayley to accompany Fiona.

When Jerome presents Tammy, his surrogate mother, to Fiona, she discovers that having children is costly. At last, Fiona discovers the full scope of Kip and Ben's connection.

Following a video conference with her old college roommate Newell Miller, Fiona is introduced to Conan O'Brien, a new client whom she knows nothing about.

While talking about money, Fiona and Tammy discover that Tammy is hiding something. Fiona blackmails Conan O'Brien. Fiona's mother asks for assistance, and Newell unexpectedly arrives at Fiona's house.

Fiona's mother worries about her crime. To heal his condition, Newell arranges a romantic therapy session with Fiona. Meanwhile, Richard Pratt begins dating Fiona's adversary, Robin, and Gina tells Fiona that Austen has offered her a promotion.

While Fiona arranges for a date for Newell and her sister, Kip's campaign faces obstacles due to her treatment of Robin. Austen and Fiona finally manage to be together; however, it turns out Gina is pregnant with his baby.

Gemma Pankhurst-Jones, a proxy for the royal family at Buckingham Palace, gives Fiona her first call from a foreign client.
