Ninja, Samurai and the coach unite to fight the dragons and the snake men, while an exiled war prince is fighting his way back up on the throne.
This season, the ninjas teach their new team member, Lloyd Garmadon, in preparation for a foretold conflict. Lord Garmadon makes a comeback as the main enemy, and thanks to his cunning schemes, Lloyd is miraculously transformed into a teenager.

After a period of peace, the ninja are called back into action, where they discover Overlord's efforts to steal Iodine's power to enable him to escape his prison and take control of everything.

After losing Zane, the team gradually disintegrates. However, when they receive an invitation to participate in a mysterious competition, their hopes are renewed that Zane might still be alive, and the team returns for a new adventure.

After destroying the Cursed Realm and saving Ninjago last season, a new villain named Nadakhan the Djinn appears, and a new era of piracy begins, and it is up to the Ninjas to confront him.
Master Wu attempts to fight a war he started decades ago with Acronix alone, and Ninja must intervene to save their master in time.

Lloyd discovers that a group of bandits is searching for Emperor Garmadon, even though Garmadon is dead.
As Emperor Garmadon takes control of Ninjago City, Ninja and Young Wu must abandon their current battle to devote themselves to saving the city.
