As Babousha is afraid of Al-Fahem, he decides to play a trick on him and puts harissa in the soap bottle. As Al-Fahem brings a donkey home and hides it in the bathroom, Babousha finds out about it and gets angry. Hayat agrees that Al-Mongy work in the café after her mother insists.

Al-Mongy works in the café and flirts with the girls, but when he learns that Hagla is coming, he goes to the house to greet her. Al-Fahem decorates the donkey to use at work. As Babousha is angry with him, he calls Al-Fahem's father to find a solution. Also, he calls Khamisa, asking her to return home.

As Hagla comes with her relative to visit Hayat, Al-Mongy is overjoyed, while his mother always scolds him for sitting with them and leaving his work. Al-Fahem’s mother visits him and decides to stay with him for a while, which angers Babousha, especially since Khamisa did not come with her.

As Al-Mongy adorns himself so that Hagla admires him, he asks Hayat to praise him in front of the girls, and she agrees, while Fatima is jealous of Hagla over her son. Al-Fahem's mother cooks the food that her son loves and invites Babousha to lunch.

Fatima is on hunger strike because Hayat does not want to give part of the café to Al-Mongy. Al-Fahem's mother, Jumaa, cooks a delicious Berkoukes and gives it to Hayat, while Fatima craves it a lot, enters her room, eats some bread, and tells Hayat that she has suspended the strike.

As Al-Mongy embarks on a relationship with a girl in the café, she takes advantage of him and takes money from him. Maya's father calls from Algeria and tells her he is coming. Hayat asks the girls to help her prepare lunch. Al-Fahem's father also comes from the countryside to visit him.

Al-Ayashi arrives at Hayat's house, and everyone greets him with joy. Fatima offers lunch, hoping that he might like Hayat and marry her. As for Al-Mongy, he tells him that he loves Hagla and Maya very much. Al-Fahem enlists the help of his parents and provokes the wrath of Babousha.

Fatima admires Al-Ayashi because he is too old for Hayat, who agrees with Al-Mongy and Hagla to show Fatima that Al-Ayashi admires Hayat. Dersaf comes to the café and tells Al-Fahem that she is going to marry, upon which he gets sad as he loves her, while she thinks of returning to work in the café.

Al-Ayashi agrees with Hayat to pretend to be in love with her in front of her mother, Fatima, who is angry. As Al-Mongy goes out with his girlfriend and stays out late, his mother worries about him, and he returns home drunk. Al-Fahem takes revenge on Babousha and puts thorns for him on the bed.

Everyone in the house is angry at Al-Mongy because he returned home drunk at night, and as his mother discovers that he spent 800 dinars in the restaurant, she almost faints out of the shock. Hayat invites Al-Fahem's parents to dinner and gives Babousha's fish to Al-Fahem, but he eats it.

Al-Mongy's psychological condition worsens and he begins to imagine that he has a female friend who advises him to prove himself in front of his mother and sister. Hagla meets a young man, whom Hayat advises her to marry. As Al-Eid, Al-Fahem's father, changes his style, his wife quarrels with him.

Al-Mongy agrees with his mother that she give him money so that he can open a pet shop, and he is very happy about it. Al-Fahem works with his donkey in the touristic area and makes a lot of money, and he still loves Dersaf, even though she is engaged.

Al-Mongy opens the pet shop and is happy with it. Al-Fahem always quarrels with Babousha and turns to his mother. Also, he goes to Al-Mongy's house and frightens him, upon which Al-Mongy believes that the house is haunted. Al-Mongy's mother works in palmistry, which angers Babousha.

Al-Fahem's mother travels with her husband to the village, while Al-Fahem is sad that they are gone and remains with Babousha alone. Dersaf quarrels with her fiancé, and Al-Fahem tries to calm her down. As for Al-Mongy, he works in the shop, and his mother watches him.

After Al-Fahem's parents leave, Babousha takes the donkey and sells it without informing Al-Fahem, whereupon he feels sad and buys a camel. As a short Algerian man goes to betroth Hagla, he changes his mind when he sees Hayat and asks for her hand in marriage, but both of them refuse to marry him.
