Even though her encounter with Dean leaves her injured, Murphy is drawn back into action after Nia pays her a visit, leaving her to team with Jess and Felix as they try to avoid alienating Nia or putting Guiding Hope at risk.

As she tries to cover her tracks and her work with the rest of the Guiding Hope team under wraps, Murphy is shocked to receive an unexpected guest. Nia and Darnell’s encounter takes a turn to the worse.

Murphy continues to throw herself into risks in an attempt to help Max. Chloe meets Dean's new partner, who uncovers some facts that confirm her suspicions. Felix struggles with Guiding Hope's problems.

As Murphy robs Jess into taking part in their drug dealing, Felix tries to find his way out of a legal problem. Dean gets unexpected help from Gene, which allows him to sabotage Murphy’s plans. Darnell’s loyalty is put to the test.

Josh proves himself useful to Murphy when she and Felix come up with a plan to destroy Nia. Jess seeks out Sterling as she tries to get away from Murphy. Max gets an unexpected guest.
