A woman suffers severe bleeding on the passenger plane carrying doctors Nick and Meyer, before they discover that she is seven months pregnant and must perform a cesarean section to stop the bleeding. Meanwhile, nurse Ray Sykes causes a disaster inside the hospital after he accidentally reuses a needle carrying HIV.
