A knight carrying important royal messages to King Louis disappears, and the musketeers Porthos, Athos, and Aramis set out to find him as quickly as possible. At the same time, D'Artagnan travels from his family's estate in Gascony to Paris to present a petition to the king, but his journey turns upside down once he arrives in the French capital.
