While Billy is in Siam on a research mission, the wizard Shazam gives him superpowers. Shazam informs Billy that his powers will only remain as long as the Golden Scorpion idol is in danger. After discovering the idol, the scientists take out the lenses that make it work and divide them among themselves so that nobody may utilize the idol.
