Zeinab overhears her husband Mourad talking to his mother about her childbearing problems and his wish for a solution. Zeinab and her siblings have lunch with her father who talks to them about his wish to ensure that the company and the family will remain united after his death.
Zeinab buys new clothes to have a new look in order to win back her husband, but he leaves her and goes to stay with his mother. The maid Nawal decides to quit her job and continue her education. After the Hajj falls ill and is admitted to the hospital, he asks Zeinab to take care of herself.
When the Hajj is released, his son Khalil questions the doctor about his diagnosis, but the latter refuses to divulge any information as the Hajj asked. When Umm Ghaita (Ghaita's mother) leaves her daughter alone in the house to go gamble, the girl goes to her grandfather who rebukes his daughter.
Ghaita's father goes to pick up his daughter and asks after the Hajj, but the Hajja refuses to tell him anything about her husband's illness. Ghaita's father tries to tamper with the company as his wife practices yoga at home, neglecting her daughter.
Aisha suggests that Zeinab drink a herbal mix to help her get pregnant. The Hajj quarrels with his son because he is neglecting his work.
The herbal mix gives Zeinab poisoning and she is rushed to the hospital. Laila's husband learns that the Hajj has terminal cancer.
The Hajj grows angry with Hesham because of the reports he submitted at work. Mokhtar discovers that Hesham is an alcoholic.
The Hajj learns that Hesham is an alcoholic, which jeopardizes the company due to Hesham's lack of commitment. Ahmed tells Hesham that Mokhtar is the one who snitched on him to the Hajj. The Hajj decides to appoint Khalil as the company's head, which angers Ahmed.
When Hesham discovers that his father appointed Khalil as CEO, he grows furious since he covets that exact position.
Zeinab has a pregnancy test that turns up positive. Nawal is jealous when she discovers that Zaidoun is talking to another woman.

Zeinab returns to her parents' house after Mourad tells her that he is going to divorce her. Hamad's wife discovers that he is cheating on her after she reads the messages on his phone.
Hamad suspects that Hesham is hiding something. Khalil asks the Hajj to go to France for treatment. Zeinab leaves the house for an unknown location to take a break from all the pressure. Zaidoun takes drugs and gets beaten as he goes to buy more.
Ammar shares his plans to sell all his property and distribute the money among his children with Mokhtar. When the secretary overhears them, she tells Hamad, who tries to figure out a way to interdict Ammar. The Hajja asks Khalil to find her daughter, Zeinab.
Hesham's father kicks him out after he brings up the matter of selling the company. Hesham kills a man and tries to fake an accident to cover up the death.
Hamad, Mourad, and Hesham gather to discuss the selling of the company. The police question Hesham about his stolen car.
When Hamad suspects that his wife is cheating on him with Saied, the company's accountant, he eventually discovers that she embezzled from the company and Sa'ied is blackmailing her. Zeinab thinks about going back to Mourad.
Hamad decides to help Hesham out of his dilemma in exchange for a million dirhams. Hamad gathers his wife, Mourad, and Hesham to agree to interdict the Hajj.

When Hamad tries to break up with the secretary, she puts their picture on Instagram in retaliation. Laila sees the pictures and decides to ask for a divorce. Zaidone puts his mind to quitting drugs and asks Manal to throw away all his pills. Hamad gives the interdiction papers to Hesham.
As Hesham's condition worsens, he is admitted to a mental hospital. Hamad tries to get Zaidone to sign the interdiction papers, but Nawal gets Khalil to intervene just in time.
On Ammar's request, the lawyer comes to announce the company's new president. Laila meets with the secretary, Eman, and convinces her to get the documents that Hamad has in exchange for Eman keeping her job at the company. Eman steals the file and delivers it to Ammar's children.
When Hesham discovers that his friend and his wife are the ones who filmed the murder he committed, the wife tells him that she plotted his extortion. When he is exposed in front of the family, Hamad signs the divorce papers.
Ammar dies, leaving his will with Mokhtar. The will lets Hesham keep his share in the company but prevents him from working in it. As Zeinab and Younis take over the management of the company, they decide to wed. Hamad and Hesham are sent to prison. Nawal and Zaidone decide to study in Canada.
