Nawaf returns from abroad, and everyone welcomes him. Fatima asks her mother to help her lure Nawaf into marrying her. At the same time, Mahmoud falls in love with Hanin, collects all of her newspaper articles, and keeps them.
Nawaf tells Hanin of his intense love for her, much to Mahmoud's sadness. Fatima takes advantage of Nawaf losing his mobile phone at their home, and tricks Hanin into thinking that Nawaf is in a relationship with her, which causes a rift in Nawaf’s relationship with Hanin.
Mahmoud sends a phone message to Hanin from an unknown number, telling her that her friend Manal is getting close to Nawaf, causing Hanin’s relationship with Nawaf to become tense.
Nawaf gets close to his colleague Manal, and Mahmoud convinces him to marry her. Fatima tries to plot with Mahmoud to keep Hanin and Nawaf apart forever.
After Mahmoud confesses his love to Hanin, she rejects him, so he attempts suicide, and Hanin’s father dies.
As Hanin believes that Nawaf has been unfaithful to her, she agrees to marry Mahmoud to get back at Nawaf.
Nawaf quarrels with Mahmoud and asks him to stay away from Hanin, but after she sets a date for her wedding to Mahmoud, it drives Nawaf to ask for Fatima's hand in marriage, and Mahmoud commits suicide.
