Frank's fiancée, Katherine Caldwell, the daughter of the Oaks plantation's owner, invites her friend Count Alucard to visit the plantation. When the Count arrives at night, he reveals himself to be Dracula, murders Kathy's father, and secretly marries her. However, Brewster, a family friend, has suspicions about the Count and sends someone to gather information about him.
