The up-and-coming writer Arabella returns back to London, after taking a trip to Italy to see her boyfriend. She finds herself under a lot of stress as her agent is pushing her to finish the draft of her second book.

After a night of partying with a friend, Arabella has trouble piecing together what happened the night before. As Simon doesn't offer her any help, Terry's audition ends badly.

Arabella recalls that she had a wild night with Terry in a flashback, when he visited her in Italy three months earlier.

As Arabella is struggling to make sense of what happened in the incident that took place two months ago, she goes to a therapist named Carrie. Arabella meets the writer Zain who helps her with her book.

As Arabella reexamines her sexual encounter with Zain, she tells Biagio about the assault incident that happened to her. Chaos ensues after Arabella goes off-script during a writing event.

As Arabella seeks a way to deal with her emotional trauma, she goes to a support group for rape victims run by her high school classmate, Theo. A flashback from 2004, shows how Theo tries to flip the story about consensual sex.

As she's running out of options, Arabella ends up working with Theo in his food delivery project. Terry attempts to make Simon not go to her birthday party. Kwame is having a hard time dealing with the trauma of his own assault.

As the investigations regarding Arabella's case is going nowhere, she devises a plan and enlists Terry's help. Kwame begins to rediscover his own sexuality.

As Arabella gains more popularity on social media, she becomes more interested in learning about her followers who identify with her story. Kwame shares his sexual experiment at a Halloween party.

As Arabella attends her mother's birthday dinner, unpleasant memories come to the surface. Kwame forms an unexpected connection with a stranger named Tyrone.

As Arabella makes some progress regarding her writing, she still tries to find clues to help her come to terms with her attack. Kwame and Tyrone's relationship grows stronger. Terry encounters success in her love life and at work.

As Arabella finally remembers all the details from her attack, she sets out to face all her fears and becomes ready for a fresh start.
