Yasmine asks Fares to divorce Lamiaa as she leaves her husband, Raouf, so that she and Fares could get married. An anonymous assailant breaks into Fares and Lamiaa's house, kidnapping their son and taking them hostages.

The attacker stipulates that Fares must give up his share in the company to secure his son's release. Fares kicks Yasmine out.

After Fares gives up everything he owns, the attacker burns the documents and keeps holding Fares and Lamiaa. Fares discovers that the attacker is Yasmine's husband, Raouf. As Fares divorces Lamiaa when she learns about his affair, Yasmine kills herself.

As Fathia gives birth to Shukry's twins, Shukry's father admonishes his younger brother for failing to have children. Zahra tells Mokhtar that she wants to put off having children until their financial conditions improve.

As Shukry and Naglaa grow close, tension rises between him and Fathia. Mokhtar's parents try to figure out the reason why he hasn't had children, leading his mother to consult a charlatan.

With Zahra's help, Fathia asks a doctor to give her contraceptives. Unconvinced with Zahra's point about putting off having children, Mokhtar informs her that he will take another wife.

Mokhtar reveals that he lied to Zahra about taking another wife to pressure her into having children. As Shukry weds Naglaa in secret, he divorces Fathia. Mokhtar's mother finds contraceptives that belong to Zahra, leading Mokhtar to divorce Zahra.

As Magdy and Salwa take a trip with Farid and Mona, Magdy struggles to deal with Salwa's perpetual suspicion of him. At the hotel, a woman from Magdy and Farid's past tries to seduce them into cheating on their wives.

When a murder occurs at the hotel, the police suspect Mariam as she was in a relationship with the victim, Karim. The police officer question Magdy and Farid, who try to hide their connection to Mariam from their wives.

Refusing to cheat on Mona, Farid avoids Mariam. A hotel guest blackmails Mona and Salwa as it's revealed that they are the ones who killed Karim, who has threatened to publish photos of his and Salwa's past affair. As the police arrest Salwa for killing Karim, Farid and Mona agree to get a divorce.

Kamel clashes with his wife Rania as she mistreats his mother. Asser struggles to deal with his mother's jealousy and her hatred of his fiancée, Karma.

Karma's father, Ahmed, clashes with Asser's mother over the furniture of their children's marital home. Kamel's mother threatens to have her son take another wife if Rania doesn't give him children. Asser weds Karma.

As Karma enlists Ahmed's help to her mother-in-law out of her home, Asser's mother asks him to divorce Karma. Asser and Karma's relationship reaches a dead end, as does Rania and Kamel's.

As Ramy expresses his interest in Lyanne, he shares his fear of marriage with her. Maged struggles to deal with Aseel's attempts to control their relationship.

Maged's parents try to convince him to stay away from the reckless Aseel, but he refuses and marries her. When Ramy marries Lyanne, he's shocked to learn that she has fallen pregnant so soon after their wedding.

As Ramy asks Lyanne to abort the baby, Lyanne asks for a divorce since Ramy has proven unable to bear any responsibility. Maged's mother disapproves of the way he and Aseel are living. Maged and Aseel divorce.

Laila asks Samir for a divorce after he refuses to move into a new apartment or buy a new car. Noura goes against Khaled and decides to try and reconcile Laila and Samir, but Laila stipulates that Samir must write the apartment over to her to agree to the reconciliation.

As Samir agrees to Laila's demands, Noura and Khaled clash as Noura tries to follow in Laila's footsteps. As people start gossiping about the compromises Samir keeps making for Laila, he ends up divorcing her.

Laila steals the furniture then accuses Samir of stealing it and sues him. Khaled divorces Noura. Samir goes through with the lawsuit and accuses Laila of stealing the furniture.

Hassan puts Kamilia through hell with his violent and controlling ways. Nader struggles with his domineering wife, Mirna, who leaves him to do the housework. As Nader and Kamilia go to a psychiatrist, Kamilia asks Hassan for a divorce.

Nader refuses to go on a trip with Mirna to reconnect. As Kamilia and Nader befriend each other during their therapy session, each of them shares their troubles with their significant other. Nader refuses to tell Mirna that he is seeing a psychiatrist.

When Mirna sees Nader and Kamilia on the way to therapy, she suspects that Nader is cheating on her. Nader advises Kamilia to leave Hassan. Mirna and Hassan learn that their respective spouses are seeing a psychiatrist.

As Kamilia leaves the house, she sues Hassan for khula (abdicative divorce), leading him to admit to abusing her and agree to divorce her. Nader and Mirna agree to split up.

As Adel resorts to scheming to secure a job at a medical equipment company, one of the employees, Nagwa, helps him after learning about his scheme. Mona is assigned to train Adel.

As Adel starts to ingratiate himself in the company, he gets close to Mona. Emad stands in Adel's way to close a major deal for the company, forcing Adel to seek the approval of management.

Emad and Nagwa agree to get married. Adel and Mona continue to get close, and eventually, they get married.

As Adel learns that he has Parkinson's, he tries to keep the news about his condition from Mona. Nagwa develops a serious uterine condition.

As Mona tells Adel that she is pregnant, Adel's health goes downhill, leading Mona to find out about his condition. Mona gives birth to a boy whom she calls Adel. Nagwa asks Emad for a divorce. Adel asks Emad to help him find proper hospice accomodations.

When Mona objects to Adel's decision to seek hospice care, his physiotherapist convinces her. Nagwa sues Emad for a divorce. Adel decides to leave Mona so that she could move on with her life.

Seeking to find her true love, Dina refuses to get married. But as she attends her college reunion, Maged confesses his love for her, as Jalal tries to get close to Amira and asks to marry her.

As Dina avoids Maged, her father advises her to agree to marry him. Jalal shocks his daughter Laila when he announces his wish to marry Amira. Dina agrees to marry Maged.

During their honeymoon, Jalal discovers that there are a lot of differences between him and Amira, including a disparity in social classes. Ramy proposes to Laila. Dina finds herself unable to adjust to Maged's presence in her life.

As Dina refuses to help Maged convince her father to give him a loan, she tries to sell the gold jewelry that he got her, only to discover that they are fake gold. Upon discovering that Maged has stolen her money, Maged asks for a huge sum of money to divorce Dina.

When Ahmed proposes to Carole, she informs her boyfriend Essam about it, only to be shocked when Essam tells her that he wants to break up. Carole agrees to marry Ahmed.

As Ahmed and Carole celebrate their engagement, Essam shocks Yousra during the party as he proposes to her in front of everyone. Carole accuses Yousra of planning the whole thing with Essam.

As Essam tries to convince Yousra to marry him, they do get married three months later, as Ahmed and Carole also wed. As Carole's birthday approaches, tension rises between the two couples over the suspicion that Carole and Essam still have feelings for each other.

As Carole informs Ahmed that she is pregnant, Yousra tells him that Essam and Carole had an affair while in El Gouna for the opening of the company's new branch.

As Ahmed quarrels with Carole, he causes her to miscarry before learning that she is innocent. Ahmed and Carole divorce as Essam and Yousra's marriage ends as well.

As debts accumulate on Rashad, he stands ready to lose his company. Rashad informs his psychiatrist that he keeps seeing his late wife, Sama. Tarek investigates the mystery of Sama's death and cheating.

On his doctor's advice, Rashad takes a trip, only to have an affair with Jamal's wife, Lamiaa. Jamal receives pictures of his wife and Rashad. In a flashback, Rashad sedates Sama and Jamal helps him dispose of her body.

When Jamal rushes to Rashad's house, he finds him with Lamiaa. Jamal discovers that Carole is still alive just before she shoots him. Carole tells Rashad that she and Lamiaa have plotted to bring him and Jamal down.

With his wife Tafida about to give birth, Saber enlists his mother's help to get his father, Abdel Aziz, out of his house. Aisha admonishes her mother, Nabawya, for not helping her with her marriage expenses.

Daqaq asks Aisha to get Nabawya out of the house before their wedding, leading Aisha to kick her mother out. Abdel Aziz gets rushed to the hospital.

Abdel Aziz's nephew, Karim, hosts Abdel Aziz in his house. As Daqaq and Aisha wed, Nabawya passes away. When Abdel Aziz suffers a heart attack, his son Mansour refuses to help him, leaving Karim to take Abdel Aziz to the hospital where he dies.

Many years later, the elderly Mansour asks his son Fathy to help him with his medical expenses, but Fathy evades him. When Fathy and Karima agree to wed, Fathy kicks Mansour out. Karima gets rid of Aisha and drives her out of the house.

With Fathy's help, Karima kicks Aisha out. As Aisha learns that Fathy has deceived her to seize her house, she ends up passing away. Saber ends up at his father's grave.
