Rania works as a singer in a tourist restaurant, while her friend Maruki is responsible for the singers in the restaurant. As Maruki asks her to lend him money to pay someone who is threatening him, he also asks Halima, who in turn also refuses.

As Mariam sings in a TV program and the people of the neighborhood watch her, her father gets angry, while Khalil likes her, and he proposes to her. As Mariam refuses to marry and decides to flee to Casablanca, her mother searches for her everywhere and does not find her.

As Mariam searches for her friend who helped her sing, she loses her address and she gets mugged and taken by the police, while her parents are worried about the scandal if the people of the neighborhood discover her escape.

As Mariam gets out of prison and searches for Rania, she finds her unconscious on the ground. Mariam's mother tells Khalil that her daughter is in Casablanca with her relatives, so he decides to go look for her. Rania quarrels with Maruki because he only wants money from her.

As Mariam takes Rania to the hospital and her boyfriend comes, she calls Maruki, who learns that Mariam is trying to sing when she hears a recording of her song at the party. Maruki takes her to his girlfriend so he can help her. Rania is discharged from the hospital after she had an abortion.

Maruki likes Mariam's voice and promises that he will help her as he takes her to Rania to work for her as a maid. Rania interferes when she finds Rania rehearsing with the composer. Khalil goes to the police station after he loses his car and he asks two young men in the cafe to find Mariam for him.

After Rania kicks her out, Mariam feels lost and tries to contact her parents, but she's unable to talk to them. Maruki introduces Mariam to Nadia, who is very impressed with her voice and decides to record a song for her. Rania gets an invitation to perform at a festival.

Mariam lives in Sakina's house and Maruki takes her to a nightclub to sing there, as he promises to make her become famous, while Rania is jealous of her. As Maruki's father is sick, Mariam goes to visit him and she is surprised by the presence of Rania there.

Rania quarrels with Mariam, who is upset when she hears Maruki talking to Rania about her sarcastically and decides not to speak to him again, as she agrees with someone to sing without Maruki's help. Sakina gives her a makeover.

Khalil finds himself in the street after his friend kicked him out of his house. He sees Mariam with Maruki after she finished her work in the nightclub. Mariam's father disavows her and does not want to search for her. Rania looks for her son with her ex-husband, but she cannot find them.

Mariam refuses to go with Khalil, who tells Maruki that she is his wife. A man goes to look for Mariam in Sakina's house and then at Halima in the studio. Maruki is jealous over Mariam and his father asks him to help her and not abandon her.

Mariam sings in Hassan's restaurant instead of Rania, who gets angry because Hassan let her go. Maruki signs a contract with Hassan so that Mariam becomes the main singer of the nightclub, and he also asks Halima to record songs for her in the studio.

Mariam's mother meets her daughter at Sakina's house and thanks Khalil for bringing Mariam to her. Mariam quarrels with Maruki because she thinks that he tried to create a problem with her and Hassan when she signed a contract with Halima to sing exclusively for her.

Mariam gets to know the young man Omar, who asks her to sing for him, but she tells him about the contract. Hassan tells Halima that he will pay her the penalty clause. Maruki tries to reconcile with Mariam and promises that he will find a solution to the contract. Khalil wants to stay near Mariam.

Omar asks Mariam to marry him and introduces her to his parents, but his mother snubs her when she learns that Mariam is a singer. Khalil freaks out when the goods he was selling gets stolen, and he finds out that it was weed, as he wants to return to Tangier.

As Omar tells Khalil that he wants to marry Mariam and that he should stay away from her, Khalil plans with his hotel colleague to blackmail him. Maruki steals the contract from Hassan's office and gives it to Halima and tells her that he wanted to take advantage of Mariam.

Mariam returns to work in the club, after she discovers that the names of the girls who applied for the singing competition have been tampered with. Mariam asks her mother to meet Omar because he wants to get to know her. Halima asks Rania to meet the head of the party she knows.

When Mariam goes with her mother to her neighborhood, everyone rejoices with her, as a photographer comes to film her meeting with her family. Omar asks for Mariam's hand from her father, who refuses and expels him.

Mariam returns to Casablanca after her father refused her marriage to Omar, who marries her, despite his parents' disapproval, as he holds a ceremony in his house. Mariam gains success when she performs at a concert.

Khalil works in the house of a rich man, who tries to harass a girl named Karima who works there, and she goes to live with Mariam. Mariam gets stabbed inside the club and Maruki rescues her. Omar asks her not to sing again while she is in the hospital, which angers her.

After Mariam is discharged from the hospital, Omar's treatment of her begins to change as she no longer sings. She sees him once in the bedroom with the daughter of his father's friend. Karima no longer sleeps over in the house where she works, and Khalil protects her from any harm.

Karima tells Mariam that she wishes to marry Khalil and that she is also jealous over him because of Sakina. Mariam's mother is surprised when she returns to her home after leaving Omar. Sakina travels home after her family's insistence.

Mariam's mother gets angry with her because she wants to ask for a divorce. Rania asks Hassan to let her sing back in the club while he meets Halima to settle the contract situation with her. Omar tells Karima the situation that happened and that he wasn't unfaithful to Mariam.

Maruki asks Mariam if she wants to return to singing, and he agrees with her to make her work with an old friend of his. Rania gets angry when she learns that Mariam is going to sing again in the club. Omar tries to reconcile with Mariam, but he walks away when he finds her talking to Maruki.

Maruki takes Mariam and they go to Radio 2M headquarters to record a press interview; Maruki's friend, the artist, attends. Omar wants to get back with Mariam, and she does not even agree to talk to him.

Omar asks Mariam to give up all her rights in exchange for her divorce, and she agrees and grieves a lot. Karima gets angry with Khalil, when she sees Mariam telling him what happened. Rania records the song with Reda, who doesn't like her voice, and she hears him when he tells Maruki about it.

As Mariam quarrels with Maruki and asks him not to talk to her again, he tells her father that he wants to marry her and she hears him. Karima is harassed by the man she works for and goes to tell Khalil and meets his friend.

Mariam reconciles with Maruki, and records a song which Reda likes. Mariam is upset when she hears Maruki telling Reda that his relationship with her is only business. Karima is glad when she goes out with Khalil to lunch.

Halima calls for an ambulance after Hassan faints, then his condition improves. As Rania comes to visit Hassan, he confesses that he loves Habiba. As Mariam talks about her relationship with her parents on a TV program, she hopes to be reunited with them and her father is moved when he hears her.

Maruki grieves over his father's death. Mariam performs at a big concert in Casablanca, and her parents attend after they reconcile. Karima and Khalil agree to marry, live and work together in Casablanca.
