Abdel Hamid, the owner of the café, observes the daily events while disapproving of the status quo. As Sami falls to the ground and sustains a facial injury, he gets angry because of his desire to look perfect in front of the girls.

After Sassi causes him to get a weird haircut, Nabil fears his mother Zakia's reaction. Abdel Hamid goes to his daughter's apartment, which he storms in order to check on her baby.

Abdel Hamid reprimands Najma, the maid, for neglecting the baby. Sami's mother gets angry with her husband because of his overly lenient treatment of their children.

Safiya changes her eating habits, while Najma continues her negligence in dealing with the baby.

Fawzia and Mahdi meet Ruqayya. Abdel Hamid quarrels with Safiya for eating fast food outside the house.

The maid threatens to quit on account of Abdel Hamid's bad treatment of her. Zulaikha quarrels with her daughter after the latter forgot the house key inside the house.

Abdel Hamid quarrels with his wife and daughter for staying too long at their neighbor's house. Sami offers Sassi to provide him with pictures of the latest hair cutting and styling trends.

As Najma watches TV shows and neglects the baby, Safiya finds out and decides to confront her. Abdel Hamid refuses to serve hooligans in the café.

Fawzia is distressed by her love for Mahdi, who does not care about her and thinks of her as his sister, while Safiya suffers from Mukhtar's interference in her work.

The maid Najma takes to Mahdi after he visits Safiya. Meanwhile, Sassi starts making improvements to his barbershop.

Safiya discovers that Najma took her baby along with her to their neighbor's. Sassi continues to arrange the barbershop the modern way, while Abdel Hamid meets Ibrahim.

Najma promises Safiya to get her baby back from their neighbor. After Fawzia follows Sami to his meeting with Sawsan, she quarrels with them both.

Najma returns the baby to Safiya. As Rashad's mother visits Zulaikha, she drops hints that her son likes Ruqayya.

Fawzia assaults Sawsan after seeing her with Mahdi. Abdel Hamid quarrels with Rashad for supporting the football team he hates.

As Abdel Hamid throws a party in his house, to which he invites all the residents, he agrees to betroth his daughter to Rashad, after which he asks Sassi to restore the barbershop to the way it was before.
