Pope Julius II contracts with the artist Michelangelo to sculpt 40 statues next to his tomb, but the Pope's tendency to abandon his request and his desire to decorate the Sistine Chapel with a fresco made by Angelo put the Italian artist in a dilemma as he has doubts about the possibility of carrying out such order.
