After Big marries Natasha, Carrie dates Aidan but her relationship with him becomes at risk when she cheats on him. Miranda faces her fear of commitment when her relationship with Steve becomes serious. Charlotte marries Trey but things take a bad turn. Samantha dates a series of various men.
In this season, Carrie rekindles her relationship with Aidan, Miranda gets pregnant, and Samantha embarks on an affair with a hotelier. Meanwhile, Charlotte and Trey try to have a baby.
As Charlotte adjusts to her new single life, Miranda struggles to maintain her career and her identity in light of her new responsibility as a mother. Carrie continues to look for a meaningful connection.
