After his retirement, Abdel Fadil starts to care for his land and his house. His neighbor, the wealthy plummer Qorany, tries to convince him to sell the house and the land. Abdel Fadil's son, Hussein, has trouble with his fiancée who wants him to quit his governmental job so that they could get married.

Abdel Galil offers Ramzy a bribe indirectly. Hussein thinks about becoming a taxi driver. Abdel Fadil is shocked when Qorany tells him that he needs to sell the house since it's in danger of falling down, leading Abdel Fadil to find a contractor to demolish the house.

Umm Hussein (Hussein's mother) convinces her son to think about getting married. Qorany decides to fabricate a series of violations for Abdel Fadil's house to force him to sell it. Ramzy discovers that Abdel Galil deceived him and bribed him.

Ramzy is shocked when his fiancée, Wedad, leaves the country for a job abroad. Qorany's assistant suggests for Hamza to marry Abdel Fadil's daughter Hanan, and for Qorany to open a workshop for Khaled to control him so that he could buy the house.

Hanan asks Kamal to hurry in officially asking for her hand. Hamza and Khaled prepare for their new project. Umm Hussein continues to fret over her son and tries to marry him off.

Despite her mother's disapproval, Hanan marries Kamal. Khaled and Hamza open their workshop. Hussein works in a taxi, only to discover that the daughter of the owner has deceived him.

After her father's death, Samira returns from her travel and asks her uncle, Abdel Galil, for her father's land. Hamza quarrels with his father who refuses to give him any money, leaving Hamza to sell anything he gets his hands on for drugs. Samira meets Ramzy.

As Abdel Galil's nephew accuses Ramzy of tampering with the fertilizer and causing the crops to go bad, Ramzy gets investigated. Kira tries to drive a wedge between Hamza and Khaled. Hussein is shocked when he discovers that Kamal is working as a porter at a hotel.

Ramzy faces criminal charges. Hafez runs away after it gets proven that another key was used to open the warehouse where the fertilizers were kept. As Agamya's father passes away, Hamza decides to marry her, but his father refuses and kicks him out.

As Hamza and Agamya wed, she is shocked to learn about his addiction. Kira tells Khaled's parents about the promissory notes. Hafez threatens to expose Abdel Galil, and asks him to hire a lawyer for him.

Ramzy is acquitted after Hafez's arrest. Hussein quits working as a taxi driver. Khaled tries to get Hamza to seek treatment for his addiction. Hamza starts to rob everyone around him, including his father and Khaled.

Khaled checks Hamza into a rehab facility. As Kamal receives his land from the ministry, he celebrates his marriage to Hanan.

With Kira's help, Hamza breaks out of the hospital. Kira quits his job with Qorany and starts working as a drug dealer. Hussein meets the owner of the quarry where he works.

Ramzy and Samira agree to wed. Agamya deceives Kira and pretends to be his associate in the drug trade, only to report him to the police.

Khaled discovers that Agamya has helped Hamza recover. Hussein gets engaged to Fatma. In the wake of Abdel Galil's death, his niece Samira gets engaged to Ramzy.
