While trying to return the Child to the Jedi, the Mandalorian looks for other Mandalorians to help him with his mission. On his way, he meets Marshal Cobb Vanth, with whom he makes a high-stakes pact.

After meeting a Frog Lady, the Mandalorian makes a deal with her to transport her and her fragile eggs to Trask, the estuary moon, in return for leads on other Mandalorians. However, their journey proves dangerous as they are confronted by X-wing fighters.

After they arrive in Trask, the Frog Lady honors her deal with the Mandalorian and sends him to an inn where he can get clues that will lead him to others of his kind. As a fisherman offers to help him, it turns out to be a trap; however, the Mandalorian and the Child receive unexpected help.

With the Mandalorian's ship, the Razor Crest, in need of repair, he and the Child are forced to make a stop in Nevarro. There, they run into Cara Dune and Greef Karga, their old allies, whom they agree to help destroy an Imperial base on the planet.

Upon their arrival on the planet Corvus, the Mandalorian and the Child find it controlled by the villainous magistrate Morgan Elsbeth, who enlists the Mandalorian to kill her enemy, Ahsoka. He finds her, gets information from her about the Child, and joins forces with her to defeat the evil Elsbeth.

After landing on Tython, the Mandalorian takes Grogu to the ancient temple, where they're followed by Boba Fett, who asks for the armor worn by Cobb Vanth, claiming it's his. However, Moff Gideon and his stormtroopers turn up, attack them, and capture Grogu.

Dune comes to the Mandalorian's aid as she uses her influence to bring the former Imperial Mayfeld from prison to help them find Moff Gideon's cruiser.

The Mandalorian sets out on a perilous rescue mission, enlisting the help of old allies as well as new ones.
