Karim takes his wife Salma to the hospital after he found her comatose with a head injury in their home. In a flashback, the events show them moving to their new home six months before the incident, showing Salma's family and her friend Nadine.

Hany suspects that the intruder is a member of the family. In a flashback, it's revealed that Salma's sister, Malak, is jealous of her. Malak becomes pregnant by Salah, who demands for Salma to return his money or let him marry Malak to avoid the scandal, since she's engaged to someone else.

As Hany confronts Karim about his car being at the house before the crime, the latter hides messages that he receives about Salma being unfaithful to him. Karim admits that on the day of the accident, he was with Maya, who admits that he left her, went home, and then came back.

Hany finds that the surveillance camera recordings have been deleted. A flashback reveals that Salma gave Salah money and that he's threatening her with a secret. Karim becomes suspicious of Salma after seeing a bruise on her arm. Nadine threatens Karim that she will tell Salma about his betrayal.

Hany is looking for Ehab, the security guard who stole Salma's phone and sold it. It's revealed that Azza, Salma's maid, is cooperating with Ehab. In a flashback, Karim quarrels with Iyad because of his harassment of Salma while he was drunk.

After the arrest of Azza and Ehab, they confess to stealing Salma's phone, switching camera storage units, and stealing Salma's necklace, revealing that Ehab threw the necklace in the trash after the police arrived. As Hany finds Salah's fingerprint in Salma's house, he confronts Karim about it.

Salah admits to asking Salma to take his son from Malak and escaping before Karim arrived, but he saw them quarrel afterward. Malak refuses to acknowledge her relationship with Hany. The police arrest Karim. Salma comes out of the coma.

Karim and Salah quarrel in prison. Malik asks Laila to meet Salma, or else he will cause a scandal for the latter with a video recording of her.

Salma begins to do exercises to treat the nerves of her hand. As Karim refuses to believe that Salma wasn't in a relationship with Salah, he moves out of the house after she comes home.

In a flashback, it's revealed that Laila was the one who pushed Salma down the stairs during their quarrel due to the former's relationship with Malik and her accusation of Salma of betraying Karim, while Malik recorded the accident that day.

Malak refuses Salma's request that she confesses to Karim that Salah visited Salma because of his relationship with her. Malik starts chasing Laila again.

As Salma sees Karim with Maya and makes sure that they're having an affair at a party hosted by Nadine, she causes a scene with a fan and accuses him of harassing her.

In the past, we learn about the beginning of the relationship between Salma and Karim all the way through to their engagement, as well as the marriage of Malak and Mustafa as the latter discovers that Malak loves another man, but Salma pressures him to go through with the wedding.

Iyad warns Malik against backing down from their scheme against Salma's family. Salma drops the theft charges and reconciles with Malik.

It's revealed that Karim and Maya's relationship was planned by Iyad, who confronts Nadine with his knowledge that she's the one who posted the offensive video of Salma. Mustafa hits Maryam and refuses to divorce her.

Karim becomes suspicious of Salma's closeness to Maya. Iyad hands Malik money in exchange for filming Laila in a disgraceful position. Mustafa informs Karim of Malak's betrayal of him.

After Salma confronts Nadine about her letters to Karim, Nadine admits to her that she loves the latter. Salma denies Salah's accusations of her that she stole from him before Malak. Mustafa files a case to determine the lineage of the baby Malak gave birth to.

Malik confesses to Salma and Laila what Iyad ordered him to do. As Salma confronts Karim with evidence of his cheating on her and tells him that Iyad is deceiving him with Maya, she asks him for a divorce.

Karim and Salma get a divorce. Karim confronts Iyad about what he learned from Salma about his trick. Nadine’s feelings towards Karim are revealed. Salma regrets helping her family and neglecting Karim.

Karim's father dies. Malak asks Salah to help her. As Malik refuses to flee with Laila, she returns to her mother's house, after which she and Malak expel Salma from there.

Karim expels Maya from his home. Malak pleads with Salma to visit Salah in exchange for helping her. Salma recalls when she worked at Nadine’s restaurant and her meeting with Salah while working in a library, and finding dollars in the library's storeroom.

After the library owner fires Salma for stealing his money, she begins working with Salah in smuggling foreign currency. The police arrest Salah after leaving a bag of money with Salma who visits Salah and makes a deal with him.

Salma travels to North coast and gets to know her neighbor Nabil after a misunderstanding between them. Iyad is happy after Karim lost Salma. Nadine gives up the restaurant to Iyad in exchange for the divorce.

As Karim faces a financial crisis with taxes, he travels to Malak to return to him. Karim quarrels with Nabil after seeing Salma with him, and then he rebuffs Nadine when she confesses her love for him. Malik is beaten by unknown people.

Amir turns to Karim in order to sell his properties. As Salma finds out more about Nabil and about the killing of his son at the hands of a mental patient, their friendship grows stronger. Maya admits to Karim that Iyad is the one who's behind his problem with taxes.

Karim returns Iyad's land to him after the latter threatened Salma to post a scandalous video of Laila. Amin reveals to Karim that he is his brother. Salma gives Malak Salah's money.

Mustafa wins the case against Malak after Salah abandons her and the child is kidnapped. The police arrest Salma, Malak, and Mustafa after Salah was killed in his office and they get the child back. Karim returns to support Salma.

After Mustafa confesses to killing Salah, Salma proves that Abdel Zaher is the real killer after the police find the money bag at his home.

Karim turns to Nabil in order to get close to Salma. Iyad and Nadine reconcile. Mustafa starts a new job. As Salma and Karim confront each other, she insists on her refusal to get back with him.

Malak regrets losing Mustafa. After Nabil's mediation, Salma forgives Karim, while she also reconciles with her sisters and opens a restaurant and runs it with them.
