Events take place 70 years after "Avatar: The Last Airbender", as (Korra) moves to Republic City to control the last element: the air, and with the guidance of Aang's son, Tenzin, She has to fight crime and protect the city from the dark forces surrounding it.

Korra participates in the Southern Water Tribe Festival, where she discovers a massive source of spiritual power that changes the course of her journey. When her parents are wrongfully arrested, Korra unleashes her courage and fights relentlessly to free them.
In season three, Korra faces new challenges after she decided to keep the spirit portals open, then she realizes that her decision has sparked a conflict between humans and spirits, and the villains are one step closer to implementing an evil plan.
The Water Tribe people are waiting for their leader Korra to return, but she is suffering from a severe trauma, and in the meantime she is trying to learn how to get rid of painful memories of the past and strive to unite her people.
