Nassim serves his sentence in prison. In a flashback, Amin divorces Sarah as Nassim prepares to wed Nour. Zaman's father dies in a car accident. As Nassim gets kidnapped by unknown assailants, he wakes up at home, next to his mother's and Jamal's bodies.

As new evidence comes to light, Zaman visits Nassim in prison and offers to take his case, but he refuses. Amin learns that Zaman is trying to reopen Nassim's case. Zaman proves to Eissa that she has evidence of Nassim's innocence.

Ghassan loses his temper when he learns that his father's murder case has been reopened. As Zaman defends Nassim in court, she gets him acquitted. Ghassan reconciles with Nour, who married Ghassan's brother, Amin.

As Nassim returns to his family home after being released from prison, he struggles to deal with continued harassment as everyone believes that he has killed his mother. Nassim asks Akram to gather information on Zaman. Ghassan asks Zaman to look for his father's killer.

The police arrest Akram while Nassim visits with him, leaving Zaman to bail Nassim out. It's revealed that the hospital where Eman used to work is implicated in organ trading.

When Nassim finds a paper proving that his mother, Eman, was married to Jamal, Ghassan accuses Nassim of forging the paper and tears it apart. Zaman receives a death threat as a warning to leave the hospital case alone.

Nassim suspects his late mother when he finds a bag of cash in her safe. Zaman agrees to oversee the search for Jamal's killer. Nour rebuffs Nassim when he tries to get close to her.

Nassim kicks Hakim out of his house. When Nassim meets Nour again, he admonishes her for marrying Amin. Abu Reisha gets released from prison.

In a flashback, Nour visits Nassim in prison and informs him that she is pregnant, only for him to ask her to get an abortion and stay away from him. Wadei's men kidnap a child to steal his organs, but he manages to escape.

Jad informs Zaman and Carla of what happened to him. Eman's bag of cash disappears. When Nassim tries to get close to Jimmy, Nour tells him that the latter is not his son. Wassim detains Akram.

Wael breaks Akram out and manages to retrieve the money that was stolen from him. Nassim refuses to believe Zaman when she suggests that his mother's money was the price of her organ trading with Wadei. In a clash with Wadei's men, Nassim gets shot.

As Nassim recovers, he finds Riad's diaries and learns of his relationship with his mother. Wadei kills Akram. Zaman confesses her feelings for Nassim.

When Amin receives pictures of Nour and Nassim's meeting, he accuses her of cheating and kidnaps Jimmy out of fear that Nassim will get custody of him. As the DNA test proves that Jimmy is Nassim's son, Jimmy escapes from Amin and goes back to Nour.

Nassim, Nour, and Jimmy take refuge in the mountain house. As Ghassan apologizes to Sahar, she insists that he must continue his therapy. The police arrest Amin on charges of organ trafficking.

As Nassim grows to suspect that Amin was framed, he and Zaman get kidnapped by men sent by the boss, who is revealed to be Ghassan. Zaman passes away as Ghassan gets arrested. It's revealed that Eman and Riad tried to expose the corruption at the hospital before their murder.
