Meriem lives in difficult family conditions in Tetouan as she becomes forced to act as a stand-in for her mother, who works as a pensioner smuggler in Ceuta. Faced with her father's violence, her brother's deviance, and poverty, Meriem is forced to smuggle drugs after she is seduced by a gang, which turns her life upside down.
