The team copes with the pandemic repercussions. Athena resumes her job with the LAPD upon recovery, while Bobby wonders if she’s up to the task; meanwhile, the Hollywood Reservoir dam breaks as a result of seismic activity across the city.

The 118 team set out to rescue a group of hikers who got trapped after the Hollywood sign fell; meanwhile, Athena manages to save an agoraphobic woman, and Chimney helps deliver a baby.

Upon receiving calls from an apparent peeping tom, the team sets out to save a man who lives in a smart house. Hen’s age proves to be an issue, as she gets picked on on her first day in medical school. A bank robber uses COVID-19 protocols to disguise himself, but Athena manages to catch him.

When a woman is found dead after a block party, Athena investigates the murder. Upon receiving a tip about a bomb, the team races to deal with the threat. With Maddie and Buck’s parents in town, Chimney finds it difficult to keep quiet.

Maddie reveals a terrible family secret to a crushed Buck, which causes him to view his life in a new light.

With the team receiving loads of weird emergency calls, they believe they have been jinxed by a newbie who didn’t know any better.

The team sets out to save a man pinned under an army vehicle that fell from a cargo plane. When Michael notices something suspicious going on at his neighbor’s, he seeks Athena and Bobby’s help to get to the bottom of it. Buck’s attempt to date again turns out badly.

Following strange happenings that involve a flight attendant, the team is summoned to the airport apron; meanwhile, Athena responds to a call about a domestic disturbance. Maddie and Chimney consider having a home birth.

Upon receiving a call about a massive pileup on a highway, the team sets out to deal with the situation. Maddie’s going into labor coincides with Chimney’s brother having a terrible accident. The mother of Hen and Karen’s foster child wants her back.

The team deals with a call that involves an accident at a children’s party. Maddie and Chimney try to acclimatize to their new roles as parents, while taking care of Albert too. Athena and Michael are concerned about May. Hen and Karen are forced to part with Nia.

Athena investigates the disappearance of a young woman. As the team races to the scene of a hit-and-run, they find that the victim is 911 operator Sue Belvins, whereupon Josh looks back on an incident with Sue that changed his life.

Things spin out of control as a renowned mystery writer dies, leaving behind a treasure, and sending people go on a frenzied treasure hunt across the city, whereupon the team intervenes to bring the chaos to a stop.

The team deals with a call that involves a mother falling through her balcony. Maddie is struggling with postpartum depression, while Athena and Bobby’s marriage suffer. Eddie gets shot by a sniper.

Eddie is taken to the hospital in critical condition; meanwhile, the team is on guard, with a sniper targeting LA Fire Department members. Maddie makes a big decision. Bobby and Athena make up after their spat. Eddie asks a disconcerted Buck to be his son’s guardian.
