In this season, Buck is reunited with his sister Maddie, and Bobby decides to take a step forward in his relationship with Athena, all the while the LA emergency workers continue to risk their lives on a daily basis as they go about doing their extremely demanding jobs.

Athena enlists the 118's help to stop a speeding teenager. As a tsunami hits the Santa Monica pier, Buck struggles to hold onto Christopher as the 118 races to rescue those injured in the tsunami.

9-1-1 S4

A series of disastrous occurrences send the 118 team on new missions across LA. Meanwhile, Athena returns to the force, Maddie and Chimney have their first baby, and Buck comes to terms with a painful secret from the past.

9-1-1 S5

In season 5, Athena rushes to save her family, while emergency situations in the 118 increase when New York is hit by a heat wave due to a power outage and chaos spreads.

In season 6, Athena faces a personal problem and Bobby helps her with it, and Buck seeks to take more care of his mental health, and more events unfold in the team's lives.

9-1-1 S7

In season 7, Buck enters into a new relationship, and Chimney and Maddie finally get married, while the others suffer due to deaths and failures that change their lives.

9-1-1 S8

In season 8, Bobby gets a job on a TV show after retiring and looks for a new home after his house burned down, while Buck suffers due to the appointment of Gerrard as the new captain, and Eddie is sad about his son moving to Texas.
