While the students are on a field trip, Chad unleashes the Lady of the Lake, who turns out to be after the Green Knight’s sword, which he’ll only yield to the one worthy of it. The still unconscious Hope is revived with a kiss from Landon. A surprising secret about Rafael’s family lineage is revealed.

With Alaric’s deal with the Necromancer void, Rafael faces a dark fate, which Hope strives to alter, while the Necromancer won’t see his plan fail.

The new suspicious guidance counselor convinces the students to stage a musical, while having ulterior motives. Meanwhile, Hope is angry at Landon, and MG’s life is in danger.

Hope and Landon’s plans to celebrate their first anniversary are interrupted by the machinations of the Necromancer, who seeks to turn MG into a super-soldier to join the monsters he’s revived.

When Landon disappears, Hope seeks the help of Alaric, who suggests using the therapy box, which sends her to a 1980s summer camp terrorized by a masked killer.

With the school facing shutting down after a large number of students transfers out of it, the Super Squad, including a still grieving Hope, try to help out.

The school is facing money trouble, so Lizzie suggests a fundraiser, whereupon a leprechaun pays them an unexpected visit, giving Hope, who’s made a new friend, hope for seeing Landon again.

Hope asks the Super Squad to join her on a mission to get Landon back, but they decline, believing that it’d be too risky, but with Cleo and Josie's help, she manages to reach the prison world, which Landon currently inhabits.

The arrival of a gremlin compels Hope and Lizzie to make up; meanwhile, they’re being watched by a skull-masked hunter who followed them from the prison world. MG reveals his powers to Ethan unwittingly.

As Hope uses Cleo to lure monsters, a banshee turns up; meanwhile Malivore has a big scheme in store for them that leads her to an encounter with the skull-masked hunter, whom she has a sneaking feeling she’s met before.

With Cleo’s help as a muse, Hope and Alaric get inspiration, which sends them on two different quests; Hope faces trouble, whereas Alaric learns a new fact about the artifact.

With Landon changed, Hope becomes suspicious, seeking to get to the bottom of the whole thing, whereupon the skull-masked hunter reveals to her his true identity. MG stops Ethan from making an unwise decision.

Hope’s relationship with the newly returned Landon turns sour; meanwhile, Cleo reveals a dark secret about her past, seeking to vindicate herself.

Josie invites a worked up Hope to join her and Lizzie at a wellness retreat, which, upon arrival, gives them a funny feeling. With MG having been missing for a while, Alaric and Dorian set out to find him.

While hallucinating under the influence of the Triad drug, Hope, Josie and Lizzie find themselves inhabiting a sci-fi world that turns out to be based on a story Lizzie wrote as a child, whereupon they set out to break free from this nightmare.

When Lizzie decides to play the matchmaker for Hope to help her get over Landon, things don’t go as planned; meanwhile, Hope bands together with someone she used to know for compelling reasons.
