When his friend Joseph reports him to the police, Yahia is unjustly sent to prison for the murder of Maryam. There, he meets an inmate who tries to help him adapt to his new situation.

As Yahia gets out of prison, he goes to see Joseph to find out where Reem is, and decides to search for Maryam's real killer.

Yahia meets Selim, who tries to persuade him to let go of the idea of revenge, whereas Reem tells Mourad that Yahia was released from prison. Yahia’s father asks him to lead an honest life.

Yahia goes with his friend to a nightclub and meets a new girl, whereas his sister’s fiancé gets angry after discovering that Yahia has been imprisoned in the past.

As Yahia’s friend is released from prison, he asks him to bring him all the money and gold that the worker stole from him. Yahia's father is still angry and does not want to talk to his son.

Yahia returns the money and gold that Burhan stole to their rightful owner, then goes to Reem's mother at the clinic to ask about her.

Yahia learns about Reem’s traveling to Canada from her mother, while he tries to find out, with Joseph's help, who killed Maryam.

Yahia denies his relationship to Maryam in front of Reem, after which he decides, with Joseph’s help, to make Haitham pay for not showing up to marry his sister.

Mukhtar dies after he discovers the truth about his son from El Marouki. The relationship between Yahia and Reem grows stronger as she confesses her love for him.

Joseph tries to get close to Yahia’s sister after her father’s death, while Yahia finds out that El Marouki’s daughter has stolen from her father.

Durra evades Joseph's attempts to get close to her. Yahia informs Reem of his determination to find Maryam's killer. El Marouki asks Yahia to run an errand for him.

Selim tries to break to his father the news of his illness. The relationship between Durra and Joseph’s son grows stronger. Yahia quarrels with Reem upon his insistence on finding Maryam's killer.

Selim is discharged from the hospital following an operation. Durra’s relationship with Joseph’s son continues to progress.

Baya starts working for Selim, who falls for her. Yahia meets El Marouki and tells him that he’s lost all hope of finding Maryam’s killer.

The relationship between Baya and Selim grows stronger. Joseph proposes to Durra, who turns him down. As Yahia goes to visit Reem at her home, he finds her unconscious.

Yahia saves Reem from a suicide attempt, then asks her to marry him, to which she agrees, whereupon Mourad finds out and tries to get rid of her. Baya refuses to marry Selim.

Joseph goes to prison after his son stole the gold. As Reem dies, Yahia and Selim grieve for her.

As Joseph gets out of prison, Durra asks him to marry her. Yahia and Selim manage to find Mourad and make him confess to killing Reem.

Baya refuses to marry Selim, and admits having feelings for Yahia, who shuns her. Durra agrees to marry Joseph.

Baya confesses to Selim her love for Yahia, whereas her father turns down Yahia when he asks to marry her, all the while Selim looks for new information on Maryam's murder.

Ali confesses to Yahia that he killed Maryam, after which Yahia, wanting to stay in prison, stabs Joseph, but the latter forgives him. Selim kills Ali for fear of scandal.
