Nawal suffers from nightmares, and her husband treats her. When he travels, she is surprised by a woman at her door asking for help. Nawal wakes up from her sleep to find herself in a psychiatric hospital.
Nawal asks to meet the psychiatric hospital's doctor, Ghassan, and asks him to explain why she's there. As she insists that her name is Maha, he tells her that her name is Nawal, that she is accused of murder and that she has been an inmate there for several years.
Nawal is taken to the hospital after her suicide attempt, and Ghassan tells Talal that Nawal remembers who Maha is, so Yara, the hospital doctor, helps her escape.
The hospital doctor prevents Nawal from reaching the Kuwaiti embassy in Lebanon so that she does not return to the psychiatric hospital, and Marwan berates his friend Yara for her involvement in smuggling her out.
Marwan tries to meet Talal to gather information about Nawal and discovers that Talal is married to another woman, while Yara decides to help Nawal return to her home in Lebanon so she can find out the identity of the woman who asked for her help before she entered the psychiatric hospital.
Marwan and Yara accompany Nawal to her home and she remembers the night of the incident. Marwan believes that Talal had Nawal committed to the psychiatric hospital so that he can spend time with his new wife, who turns out to be the same woman who asked Nawal for help.
Everyone is surprised when Talal attacks the house. He calls the police, who arrest Nawal and place her in the psychiatric hospital. They interrogate Marwan and Yara, and it turns out that Talal has been experimenting with some medications on patients.
Marwan and Yara meet Talal's second wife, who has been taking the drugs that Talal is experimenting with. Talal is interrogated for exploiting patients in the psychiatric hospital to conduct experiments on them.
