Taiba’s father forces her into marrying a rich, older man, who divorces her on their wedding day, so she returns to her family, and asks to continue her studies, to which her father agrees.

Taiba goes with Sarah and Marwa to the university on the first day, where she meets a girl called Nour, who tries to manipulate her because she thinks that she is wealthy. Taiba meets a handsome young man called Wissam.

Wissam, who likes Taiba, accidentally breaks her phone, so Sarah buys her another amid her father's objection, whereas Sarah's mother considers running for election.

When Wissam and Tiba meet, he gives her back her phone and tries to tell her about his feelings for her, but he overhears her telling Sarah that she will break his heart, and she ends up trying to patch things up with him.

Taiba is still lying to Wissam by claiming that she is rich, and Sarah, who falls for Wissam's friend, helps her with her act. Rita is jealous of Taiba’s relationship with Wissam.

Taiba fears that Wissam broke up with her, after she gets drunk at a party and confesses her poverty to him, while his mother gets sick. As a fire breaks out in Sarah’s villa, everyone tries to find the perpetrator.

Wissam patches things up with Taiba, whom Sarah helps make a show of her alleged wealth at the university after what happened at the party. Wissam places a ring in Taiba’s bag, which he later finds out was Sarah's.

Wissam succeeds in getting Taiba to confess her love for him. Marwa helps Taiba get a job in a beauty salon. Hamed objects to Saad's marriage to Marwa.

Rita posts a video of Taiba at the party, resulting in the dean expelling her, upon which Wissam tries to help her, but to no avail.

Taiba gets angry after seeing a picture of Wissam with Rita. As Salwa gives Saad the money to buy Jamal's house, he gains Hamed's trust again.

When Nour is summoned to the questioning of Taiba, she testifies against her, getting her expelled, only to have Wissam save the day by bringing Raed who reveals the truth and testifies against Nour and Rita, whereupon Taiba returns to the university.

When Wissam's mother falls ill with cancer, Taiba donates blood to her. Saad rejects the money Hamed offers in return for Salwa's withdrawal from the election.

Wissam's mother asks him to marry Rita. Taiba sneaks out to go to Wissam, and upon noticing her absence, her mother goes to the university to look for her.

When Rita tells Taiba’s mother about the party, she flips out and punishes Taiba, upon which the latter distances herself from Wissam. Hamed threatens to divorce Salwa.

After Taiba’s mother forbids her from going to the university, she reconsiders and allows her to go, until she sees her with Wissam. Saad suggests that Salwa should buy Mahmoud's house.

Sarah comes to Taiba’s rescue by telling her mother that Wissam is just a fellow student. Nour plots to cause discord by telling Sarah and Wissam that Taiba and Haitham are having an affair. Salwa sees Saad with Marwa.

Wissam keeps his distance from Taiba after what’s happened, whereas he’s reconciled with Haitham, as is Taiba with Sarah, while Taiba’s relationship with Wissam continues to deteriorate.

Saad threatens Mahmoud. Wissam patches things up with Taiba, while his mother wants him to marry Rita. Saad buys Jamal's house.

When Saad and Salwa persuade Hamed to leave the country upon getting threatening letters, he agrees to, after which his relationship with the former improves. Taiba receives photos of Wissam with other girls.

Hamed puts Saad in charge of his business in Iraq while he’s away. Taiba’s relationship with Wissam deteriorates due to the photos, while Wissam's mother develops Alzheimer's as a result of her cancer.

Saad asks Marwa to get her share of the inheritance from Hamed, whereas he’s forced to throw Majed out of his house upon receiving threatening letters. Wissam patches things up with Taiba.

Wissam's mother asks him to marry Rita before she dies, meanwhile Wissam suspects Taiba when she goes to see her cousin. Saad threatens Salwa to make her withdraw from the election.

When Nour sees Taiba with her family, she discovers that they’re poor, and takes pictures of them. Marwa rejects Saad's request to travel. Haitham gets close with Sarah. Majed is wrongfully imprisoned. Wissam suspects that Taiba is poor, as he starts to piece things together.

Mahmoud tells Hamed about Majed's imprisonment, after which the latter is released. Hamed agrees to Saad and Marwa’s engagement. As Taiba's mother gives Sarah the necklace, Salwa takes it, leading Wissam to think that Taiba has sold it, so he breaks up with her.

Majed attacks Saad with a knife, only to have Mahmoud stop him. Hanaa finds out about Taiba’s relationship with Wissam, meanwhile Taiba’s ex-husband appears again in her life. Taiba and Wissam split up after Nour causes them a scandal at the university, after which someone proposes to her.

When Taiba runs away from home, refusing to marry the new suitor, Mahmoud brings her back. Wissam's mother dies. Sarah tells Hanaa and Rita that Taiba’s mother is dead and her father is out of the country.

When Taiba admits to Wissam that she’s poor, he accuses her of lying and leaves her, then asks Rita not to travel. Haitham informs Sarah of his wish to leave the country. Marwa leaves Saad upon learning that he's a thief.

Mahmoud informs Hamed of the real revenue, which causes Saad to assault him and try to have him killed. Wissam refuses to forgive Taiba. Marwa and Saad patch things up and set a date for the wedding. Following Wissam's breakup with Taiba, he and Rita get engaged.

Saad is arrested for incitement to murder Majed and for stealing from Salwa. Hamed returns from abroad. Haitham decides to travel with his parents to Sweden. Wissam decides to marry Rita upon learning that Taiba is poor and divorced.

Salwa loses the election. Saad is sentenced to death. Wissam leaves Rita upon learning that she practices witchcraft, and forgives Taiba, after which they get engaged. Haitham and Sarah get back together.
