El Mahdi’s family receives him as he arrives from Canada, whereas Basma, his fiancée, decides to break up with him. He confesses to his family that he was in prison these past years for drug abuse.

El Mahdi makes a decision that shocks everyone. Farouk takes over as head of El Mahdi’s father’s company, whereas Khadija tries to persuade her brother to marry another woman so that he might sire a child.

Farouk falls into a state of severe depression after an unfavorable decision made by Amr against him. El Mahdi's mother seeks to keep Basma away from her son.

The arrival of Nabil in Basma’s life changes everything and raises El Mahdi’s suspicions. Hajjaj, who is thrilled by the news of his wife’s pregnancy, holds a bash at the wharf to celebrate the news.

Basma’s relationship with the journalist, who appeared suddenly in her life, alarms El Mahdi. Khadija's jealousy of Zainab's pregnancy, causes problems to escalate between the two, which angers Hajjaj.

Nabil feels he’s been used to provoke El Mahdi, who is feeling depressed. Hajjaj tries to resolve his issue with his wife following her false pregnancy.

Nabil is greatly shocked upon hearing the news of Basma's kidnapping, which everyone suspects that El Mahdi did.

Saad and his crew begin to investigate the kidnapping of Basma who finds herself in the clutches of a man who receives orders from an unknown party.

Abdel Ghafour escapes from the police who managed to locate him, whereas Basma tries to escape by any means possible.

Basma ends up being held hostage on a remote island, and as the kidnapper demands a ransom, Farouk decides to sell his share of the company to pay it.

As the police try to find out the identity of the kidnapper, and the person who leaks the investigation information, they receive an anonymous tip.

Basma suffers from depression while in the hospital and becomes distrustful of everyone. Hajjaj prepares for Najwa's pregnancy.

Basma's discharged from the hospital. As Zainab finds Najwa, she warns her about Hajjaj's plan to get rid of her after he gets the baby.

Abdel Ghafour turns himself in and makes serious confessions regarding the case, whereupon the police arrest El Mahdi.

The police interrogate El Mahdi in the drug case, and charge him with kidnapping Basma. Hajjaj files for a notification of obedience against his second wife.

El Mahdi faces charges of kidnapping Basma and trading in explosives, upon which he goes to prison. Nabil tries to get close with Basma.

Hajjaj marries El Mahdi’s ex-wife, Sarah. Basma's life changes after marrying Nabil. El Mahdi comes out of prison determined to find the truth.

Upon his release from prison, El Mahdi tries to convince Basma that he's innocent of her abduction, and decides to find out the truth with Saad's help.

Khadija learns shocking information about her deceased husband. Idris reopens the case of Zainab’s disappearance, which puts Hajjaj in a tight spot.

El Mahdi arrives at a shocking revelation. Khadija begins implementing her plan to take revenge on Hajjaj after finding her husband's body.

El Mahdi continues his search for any lead to help him solve the mystery of who framed him. As Khadija manages to find Najwa, she tries to persuade her to return in order to testify against Hajjaj.

When Nabil is taken to the hospital in critical condition, Basma snaps, holding herself responsible for what's happened to her husband, whereas the police interrogate El Gilani.

El Mahdi discovers a shocking truth. Farouk tries to find a solution to his problem, while Basma pressures him to marry Laila.

When the police find a body in an orchard belonging to Hajjaj, they set out to find him; meanwhile Najwa changes her testimony against Hajjaj.

El Mahdi looks for Hajjaj to get his son back; meanwhile the police interrogate El Gilani, who makes shocking confessions.
