Delilah is a single mother of two who lives in Charlotte, NC and works as a lawyer, where she fights to bring justice to those who deserve it, while standing up to those who seek to stop her.

After her informant dies, Delilah seeks to take on Leah’s case, causing her to clash with Tamara.

A reporter tricks an unwary Leah, who blabs too much information. Meanwhile, Demetria starts her new job as Delilah’s associate.

Delilah urges Tamara to follow her conscience, as she stumbles on new findings in the case of Leah, whose life becomes threatened.

Leah discovers that her laptop and phone were stolen, after her apartment was broken into, while Delilah asks for Wes’s help in her case. Meanwhile, tension continues to rise between Delilah and Tamara.

Delilah reveals some conclusive evidence, while Tamara is about to be made partner at her firm. Fred pays Leah a visit out of the blue.

As new information showing Cindy Shea’s link to the case comes to light, Leah seeks to settle out of court, while Delilah stands firm in her wish to go on with the case. It turns out that Leah has more information regarding Gary’s death.

As Leah finally settles her case out of court, Delilah resorts to information that has recently come to light. Meanwhile, startling news about Mace is brought into the open.
