Alia works as a musician. Maryam tells Ghalia that there is a guy named Ibrahim who wants to marry her and lives in Kuwait.

Ghalia is upset because her father's pressuring her. Ibrahim asks Yahya's friend to fulfill all of Ghalia's requirements.

The band manager tells Ghalia that she has become a principal member of the band. Yahya helps her, while Ibrahim objects to her work in the theater.

Ghalia becomes attached to Yahya. When Ghalia discovers that Ibrahim was married before and has a son, she asks him for a divorce.

Ghalia discovers Imad's fraud, after which she decides to file a divorce lawsuit but loses it. Ibrahim eventually splits up with Ghalia after confronting her with her getting close to Yahya.

Shadia complains to her psychiatrist about getting bullied because she hasn't gotten married yet. Mamdouh's wife stirs him up against his sister, Shadia, because she receives her mother's pension. Shadia meets Awad.

Mamdouh decides to steal his mother's jewelry, and as his mother sees him, she falls ill because her son stole from her. Mamdouh scolds Shadia because of his wife's instigation against her.

After Shadia's mother dies, Mamdouh and Amir meet at the instigation of their wives and ask their sister, Shadia, to prepare herself to leave the apartment in order to sell it. Shadia agrees with Awad the lawyer to file a lawsuit against her two brothers to stay in the apartment and not sell it.

Shadia refuses to marry Karim after discovering that he does not want her for her own sake, but rather wants to get her apartment. Mamdouh kicks his sister, Shadia, out of the apartment.

Everyone is surprised by Awad's arrival with the police. Awad tells Shadia's brothers that the apartment now belongs to Shadia by virtue of a court order. Awad marries Shadia.

Amal goes to the ophthalmologist in the hope of finding a cure for her eye problem, especially after discovering that her disease is rare. Amal meets the doctor Hatem, who tells her that he specializes in treating her disease.

Hatem's daughter asks her father to meet Amal, especially after the latter's appearance in a television interview. Amal agrees to supply new carpets from her workshop to the merchant Hani.

Noha gets angry after she finds Amal in Hatem's house and suspects that there is a love affair between them. Marwan asks Mai to undergo an analysis due to the family's genetic disease of blindness.

As Hatem proposes to Amal, she agrees on the condition that she undergoes an analysis due to the family's genetic disease. The result of the analysis comes back and Amal learns that her kids will be blind. Amal agrees with Hatem not to have children, but they quarrel because of her sudden pregnancy.

Hatem divorces Amal, after which Hatem makes sure that the fetus will inherit the same disease as his mother. Amal gives birth to her baby. As Hatem performs an operation for his child and ex-wife, the child's operation succeeds, whereas Amal's operation fails.

Khaled goes to Laila's house and tries to explain the situation to her, then asks her to go on a picnic with him.

Ramzi, Khaled's uncle, calls him, tells him that he is very sick, and asks him to come and save him. Laila's father asks to see Khaled, who tells his father that he deliberately got to know Laila while hiding the fact that he is poor.

Shahi collapses after the students learn the truth about her poverty and that she lives in a slum. Khaled proposes to Laila and her father agrees.

Laila discovers the truth about Khaled, his poverty, and his lying to her. Ramzi tries to intercede with Laila's father in order to get Khaled back with his sweetheart.

Laila goes to Khaled and asks him to snap out of the bad psychological state he's in and focus on his studies again. Khaled confesses during a live broadcast his love for Laila in front of everyone and asks her to forgive him.

Qamar's brother asks her to go with him to meet his girlfriend. He also asks her to focus on her reaction when she sees the birthmark on her face.

Saif tries to get to know and get closer to Qamar, who gets reprimanded and bullied by her manager at work. Qamar listens to her friend, who tells her that Saif is in love with her.

Qamar gets romantically involved with Saif, who tries to encourage Qamar to be stronger in character and make her confront her fears and those who bully her for her looks and features.

Saif quarrels with his cousin over a rumor that Saif's gotten involved with Qamar to photograph her and submit the photos in a contest at a big gallery in Italy. Qamar gets depressed after Saif defends her in front of everyone because of her face, and she decides to stay away from him.

Qamar decides to confront her mother because of her severe bullying of her as a child. Saif confesses his love for Qamar in front of everyone, after which Saif marries Qamar.

Jalal dies. Khairy quarrels with Sabreen over the restaurant, especially after the death of her husband, Jalal. Khairy tells Sabreen that he will sell the boat of his brother, Jalal, and give her her share of it.

By chance, Sabreen discovers that her late husband had signed the boat over to his daughters. Sabreen decides to work on the boat with her daughters.

The boat breaks down at sea. The fishmongers quarrel with Sabreen because she went to work at sea with her girls. Khairy goes crazy after learning that Sabreen took the boat and went fishing.

Zakaria buys Sabreen's fish after the merchants have steered clear from her. Also, he offers her to buy a shop where she can sell the fish she catches.

Zakaria restores Sabreen's right after Rustom robs her restaurant and sabotages her boat. Sabreen buys Khairy's share in her husband's restaurant. Doaa, Sabreen's daughter, marries Zakaria's son.

Laila gives birth to a son and calls him Hamza. As someone kidnaps him, Laila goes to her brother, Zain, and accuses him of kidnapping her son, which he denies.

Laila speaks in a live broadcast on social media and tells people about the problems that happened to her with her brother and her story with Ayman. Emad receives news from the hospital that his brother, Ayman, was injured in an accident.

Hakim goes to Zain, Laila's brother, and provokes him against her, whereupon Zain goes to Laila and beats her severely.

Ayman's father goes to Zain and warns him not to lay a finger on his sister again. Laila reminisces about her love story with Ayman and misses him.

Zain quarrels with Hakim, Laila's ex-husband, and robs his jewelry shop. Hoda reports Zain to the police after he kidnapped his sister's son. The child returns to his mother and Ayman wakes up from his coma.

Nashwa asks for her husband, Osama, for a divorce and tells him that she is not happy, while Marwa asks her husband, Tariq, for a divorce and tells him the same reason.

Marwa reminisces about her love story with Tariq, her memories with him, and his proposal to her. Nashwa quarrels with her mother-in-law and decides to leave the house. Osama tries to reconcile his wife, Nashwa, and his mother.

Nashwa asks her husband, Osama, that they leave his mother's house and live in a separate place. In a flashback, the doctor tells Marwa and Tariq that she might be able to conceive when they get married, especially after Marwa learned that she has fertility issues.

Osama's mother steals Nashwa's money so that she cannot afford to leave her apartment with her husband, Osama, upon which Nashwa accuses her mother-in-law of stealing her money.

Osama discovers that it was his mother who stole the money. Tariq quarrels with Marwa because she no longer cares about him like before. Nashwa decides to return to her husband, Osama.

Manal asks her mother, Sabah, and her father, Abdo, not to make her work as a housemaid after the lady of the house accused her of theft.

Awad asks for Manal's hand from her father, who goes too far with his demands so that his daughter does not get married; however, after pressure from his wife, Sabah, Abdo agrees to his daughter's engagement to Awad.

Salam asks his mother, Sabah, for money to travel to Italy to work there, upon which Sabah gets the money and gives it to her son. As Awad finds Manal's little brother stealing a mobile phone, he intervenes to save him from prison.

Salam discovers that he will travel illegally to Italy. Awad holds an engagement party for himself and Manal, whom he presents with a costly jewelry gift as requested by her father, Abdo.

Abdo steals his daughter Manal's jewelry gift and partners up with his friends on a project, which he discovers was a way to swindle him. Awad decides to leave Manal. Salam dies on his way to Italy. Sabah decides to kick her husband, Abdo, out of the house and starts taking care of her children.

Walid returns to Cairo from Germany after completing his studies there. Amal tells her son, Walid, that she wants to marry someone named Murad.

Murad holds an engagement party for himself and his sweetheart, Amal. Walid's father comes to the engagement party, tries to spoil it, and kicks Murad out of the house. Murad marries Amal.

Walid's father provokes his son against his mother and asks him to persuade her to leave her husband and return to him. As Walid decides to leave the house, his mother, Amal, goes crazy.

Yara tries to convince her fiancé, Walid, to leave his mother alone and not condemn her for marrying Murad, telling him that she has every right to do so and asking him not to behave selfishly. Amal asks Murad for a divorce.

Yara tells Murad that Walid is going to travel, urging him to follow him. After Murad talks to Walid to dissuade him from traveling, Walid decides not to travel and marries Yara.

Maryam recalls her life as a little girl after her mother left her in front of the orphanage. As Hazem and Hanan come to the orphanage, their daughter, Aziza, becomes attached to the child Maryam, who grieves after Hazem and Hanan fail to adopt her because of Hazem's work in the Gulf region.

Nada asks her husband, Hussam, to adopt Maryam from the orphanage. Hussam treats Maryam badly and tells his wife that he does not want her in the house and will take her back to the orphanage.

As Maryam leaves Hussam and Nada's house, a street vendor sees her and decides to take her with him to beg.

Olfat finds Maryam and decides to return her to the orphanage. Souad asks Olfat that she adopt the girl Maryam. Souad refuses to marry because of her strong attachment to Maryam.

Hazem and Hanan return from traveling and ask Souad to come and raise Maryam in their house and live together with them. Maryam grows up, works as a fashion designer, and her work becomes famous, after which Maryam decides to buy the orphanage in which she was raised.

The university asks Mai to educate a girl over the age of 15 in order to obtain a university graduation certificate. Hosna discovers that the money saved for her marriage has been stolen. As Mai looks for a girl to teach her to read and write to get the certificate, she comes upon Hosna.

Mai agrees with Hosna to give her a sum of money and teach her to read and write in order to obtain her graduation certificate, to which Hosna agrees. Hosna quarrels with her father after Abdullah, her fiancé, accuses her father of being the one who stole her money.

When Mai discovers the disappearance of her jewelry, she grows suspicious of Hosna. As Mai accuses Hosna of stealing her jewelry, Hosna refuses her accusation. Hosna finds the jewelry after Shaima comes across it, then she gives it to Mai and tells her that she is not a thief, and Mai believes her.

Mai quarrels with Adel after she finds him sitting with her girlfriends. Hosna discovers that her fiancé has messages, in which he corresponds with his friend, proving that he is the one who stole the money she's been saving for marriage, so she decides to punish him in her own way.

Hosna takes revenge on her fiancé, Abdullah, in agreement with Farah, her younger sister, gets her money back, and leaves him days before their wedding. Hosna passes the literacy test. Mai leaves her fiancé, Adel, and decides to live with her father and mother for good.
