Fares tries in various ways to find work to improve the family's financial situation, but he fails. As Khalil leaves the family, Fares persuades him to return to them.

Talal tells Fares that they own an expensive plot of land, but that their aunt Aida is a partner in it. Laila tells her children that Aida hates them very much, and Fares makes sure of this after her refusal to sell the land.

Karam asks Fares to work with him. As Laila accepts the offer to stay with her children at Aida's, it turns out that Aida has agreed with Adam to destroy the Daher family. Adam learns where Sara is after her disappearance.

Fares quarrels with Adam after his meeting with Soraya and forcing Sara to come, while Aida makes many attempts to persecute Laila.

It turns out that Aida liked Adel in the past, but he was in love with Laila. Fares beats up Adam after Soraya disappears, as he suspects that Adam kidnapped her, then Fares gets arrested after Adam files a complaint against him.

Adam drops the complaint in exchange for talking to Sara, who tells Adam that she had the fetus aborted.

Mira suffered in the past as her stepfather used to molest her. It turns out that Sara has kept the fetus and that she lied to Adam. Fares tries to fix the situation at work, while Khalil listens in on Aida and Laila's conversation and learns that Fares is the son of Adel.

Fares succeeds in convincing the investors to go through with his project, and Karam begins to trust him. Khalil brings Halim the passports in exchange for the papers that would send Adam to prison.

Talal watches Khalil's movements and learns about his meeting with Halim. As Khalil finds Halim dead, he and Fares flee. Khalil tells Fares about the possibility of Adel being Fares' father. Karam proposes to Naya to work with him.

Sara and Adam get divorced, while Khalil starts working with Talal. Fares decides to undergo a DNA test, but he is convinced that he is descended from the Daher family.

Laila is unable to bear Fares' undergoing the test to ascertain his lineage and rebukes him. Laila goes to the mansion and feels for a moment that she still owns it, after which Fares takes her, and she refuses to stay in Aida's house.

Dalia decides to hold a party for Laila to celebrate her birthday, but they get arrested due to the presence of gambling halls in the place where the celebration is held. Naya begins working with Karam, while Adel proposes to Laila.

Khalil learns of Aida's collusion with Adam against them. As Laila tells her children about Adel's desire to marry her, they do not accept the matter. It turns out that Dalia already knows Mira.

Soraya tries to persuade Fares to accept his mother's marriage to Adel, whereupon Soraya begins preparing Laila for the engagement party. Mira asks Dalia not to tell Aida about their friendship, while Adam learns that Sara has kept the fetus.

Talal tells Khalil that Aida was married to Waheed, but he cheated on her with Fadia and then disappeared, and Aida expanded her business after his disappearance. Laila and Adel get engaged. As it turns out that Aida killed her husband Waheed, Fadia threatens to expose her.

Adam stops the divorce procedures after learning that Sara is pregnant, and Sara learns that Adam knows that she is still pregnant. Elsewhere, Talal learns that Dalia is hiding something from him.

Adam decides to stop the revenge plot with Aida, and it turns out that Aida killed her husband by mistake, after learning of his infidelity, and aborted her fetus by him.

Aida celebrates the 30th anniversary of her establishing her own fashion company, and Fadia threatens her during the party. As Fares learns of Adam and Aida's scheme from Talal, he asks Fadia to cooperate with him.

Soraya learns from Aida that she had her fetus aborted after learning of her husband's infidelity. Adam decides not to go on with his plan with Aida, whom Fares tells about his knowledge of her past.

Aida gives her brother's children their inheritance after everyone learns about her past, and she travels to seek psychiatric treatment, leaving Mira in charge of her business. Adel asks to buy the mansion from Adam to return it to Laila.

Adam decides to start a new life without grudges and returns the mansion to Laila and her children. As it turns out that Adel bought the mansion's furniture at auction, he returns it to Laila. Khalil asks Naya to quit working with Karam, who refuses and proposes that she work from home, and she agrees.

Khalil gets upset after learning that Fares has asked Karam to become their partner in the business. Fares decides to reward Soraya and finds her a place where she can teach music.

The family holds a party on the occasion of their return to the mansion, and as Fares invites Adam, the family gets upset about his presence. Fares offers Adam a share of the company for returning the mansion to him.

Laila stipulates that Adel should take over the management of her assets in the company in return for agreeing that Adam gets a share in the company. Fares opens his new company, and a quarrel breaks out between Khalil and Karam.

Khalil refuses to go to the opening ceremony. As a group of men attacks Khalil, Adam intervenes, and both Adam and Khalil are stabbed during the fight.

Khalil recovers, but as Adam dies after complications from the stab wound, Khalil is unable to bear the remorse after Adam's death.

Sara tries to overcome her crisis after Adam's death, and so does Khalil. On the other hand, the doctor tells Laila after examining her that she suffers from Alzheimer's disease.

Laila hides her illness from her family. As Amir disappears, Fares goes to look for him, and upon his return, his father reprimands him, and Soraya tries to contain Amir.

Laila calls off her engagement to Adel and decides to hide her illness from Adel and her children. Meanwhile, Fares tries to compensate his son Amir for his absence.

Ruba learns of Laila's illness and tells Soraya. As Adel learns from Ruba about Laila's illness, he refuses to leave her and asks her to expedite their marriage. Soraya tries to persuade Laila to tell her children about her illness.

The wedding of Laila and Adel takes place. Laila tells her children of her illness and asks them not to leave the mansion and stand by her.

Sara learns that Adam was in a romantic relationship with some girl, about which Soraya and Dalia did not tell her, so Sara decides to stay away from the Daher family. Quarrels increase between Khalil and Naya over work. Soraya quarrels with Fares over his defending Adam's cheating on Sara.

Sara refuses Soraya's help. Meanwhile, Khalil decides to improve his situation with Naya and brings her a surprise, but Karam spoils his plan.

Khalil beats up Karam because he knows that he wants to get close to Naya. When Fares learns of Karam's hatred of the entire family, Fares threatens him and terminates their partnership.

Soraya brings Laila a nurse named Matilda to take care of her, which upsets Laila. Fares decides to let Jamal keep her job despite her being related to Karam.

As Sara gives birth, Soraya and Dalia stand by her. Meanwhile, Hady begins to admire Matilda. Khalil strikes a major deal with a tourism company and his performance at work begins to improve.

The love affair between Matilda and Hady develops, while Fares and Soraya celebrate their wedding anniversary, and the episode ends with Soraya seeing Jamal kissing Fares.

As Soraya gets upset with Fares, he explains to her that there was a misunderstanding between him and Jamal, whom Fares asks to quit after she told him that she liked him and he told her that he did not reciprocate her feelings because of his love for his wife, whereupon Jamal gets into an accident.

Jamal is taken to the hospital, and Karam threatens Fares after finding out, while Fares feels remorse. As Jamal wakes up from the coma, she tells Karam the truth about the accident she got into and the misunderstanding that occurred between her and Fares.

Karam apologizes to Fares and returns the shares to him. After Jamal tells Soraya about the misunderstanding that occurred between her and Fares, Soraya makes sure of Fares' love for her.

Fares gets upset with Amir because of his decision to travel to France to study there for three months, after which Fares decides to leave the company.

As Fares tells the family about his decision to quit, Khalil takes over the management after him, and his mother gets upset by the news. Hady learns that his mother is behind Matilda's quitting.

After she gets angry at Fares for quitting the company, Laila begins to develop Alzheimer's symptoms. Meanwhile, Naya tries to instill confidence in Khalil.

Soraya asks Matilda to continue working for them. As the company's shares fall after everyone learns that Fares left the company, Fares explains the matter to the press.

As Fares opens a new restaurant similar to Soraya's parents' restaurant, Soraya remembers her memories and her parents' neglect of her in the past because of work.

Soraya learns that she was a burden on her parents because of their poor financial conditions. She also learns that Dalia was unable to pay a debt to a gangster, who decided to have her killed, but they killed Soraya's parents by mistake.

Dina tells Afif about her pregnancy. Dalia's psychological condition worsens after Soraya cuts ties with her. As Laila loses her memory and leaves Afif in a closed place, Afif almost suffocates after a fire breaks out, whereupon he is taken to the hospital.

Afif wakes up from the coma and learns that Dina is pregnant with twins, while Laila feels remorse for what happened to Afif because of her. Soraya patches things up with Dalia, and Fares celebrates Afif's recovery.

Laila leaves her family and moves to a nursing home, and her children are upset by the news, upon which Adel devises a plan to return her to the mansion and succeeds in that.

Adel dies, and Laila is unable to bear the shock, whereupon her health worsens, and she dies after that. As Soraya turns forty, the family celebrates and discovers that Laila has left a message for the whole family.
