As Muhammad attacks his ex-fiancée, Sheikha, in revenge for her marriage to Khaled, she defends herself and kills him, and Khaled helps her dispose of the body. Years pass, and Khaled refuses to hire Laila, Muhammad's daughter, in Sheikha's law firm for fear that the past will be exposed.
Saud becomes romantically involved with Laila, whose mother asks her to quit her job at the firm of Sheikha, who takes on defending the employee Jassim as he is accused of the murder of a girl named Abeer.
The judge asks Sheikha to help Officer Jaber in his mission to uncover the connection between the university girls who were killed under mysterious circumstances. Sheikha asks Laila to defend Jassim, who asks Noor to plant a listening device in Laila's car.
As Jassim accuses Khaled of killing the university girls, Jaber interrogates Noor and discovers a relationship between Khaled and these girls. Sheikha is shocked when Khaled threatens her with harm if she does not get him acquitted.
Khaled is released on bail, and Laila discovers the listening device in her car. Sheikha suspects that Khaled is involved in the murder cases, and Saud tells Laila's mother that he is worried about Laila falling into a dark circle as a result of her work on the murder cases.
The police succeed in entrapping Noor, who reveals Jassim's connection to Abeer's murder. Sheikha confesses to having killed Muhammad in the past, and she is imprisoned pending further proceedings in the case.
Officer Jaber becomes suspicious of Noor and Jassim, especially after their contradictory statements about Abeer's death. Laila decides to drop the case in favor of Sheikha, who is surprised by Khaled's decision to marry another woman.
Khaled informs Sheikha that he is seeing Suzanne, and Sheikha discovers their involvement in getting rid of Suzanne's husband, Samira's father. When Saud decides to announce his engagement to Laila, a car hits her.
