As Abu Kamel (Kamel’s father) is released from the hospital, he scolds his son Sobhi for not managing the mill properly, and tries to advise his son Kamel to remarry after his wife's death.
Jamil returns from abroad after completing his studies and hides from his father his marriage to Mona and his children with her. His father suggests that he marry Faten, which saddens his brother Sabri because he wants to marry her. Inaam falls in love with Waheeb, the owner of the clothing store.
Abu Kamel accepts Ahmed’s proposal to marry his daughter, Inaam, despite the latter’s refusal, and Jamil is forced to agree to marry Faten in accordance with his father’s order.
Jamil and Faten's wedding takes place, and Inaam marries Waheeb secretly, despite her engagement to Ahmed and his travel abroad.
Jamil is surprised when his wife Mona comes to visit him. Faten falls ill and gets cancer, and Abu Kamel proposes to his son Sabri to choose a wife for him.
Mona gets angry when she learns of Jamil's marriage to Faten, and Hayat asks Sabri to hide Jamil's marriage to Mona from their father, who dies of grief due to Faten's illness.
Kamel tells Hayat that Faten's days in life are numbered. Sabri takes over the management of the mill succeeding his father, and Hayat convinces Mona to return to her hometown until things calm down.
Abu Kamel's children disagree about the inheritance, and Jamil asks for his inheritance from his father so that he can travel with his wife and son. At the same time, Inaam reveals a surprise about her relationship with Waheeb, who evades her.
