As Abdullah dies and his wife Khadija grieves, her son Marwan grows up and takes over his father's company. Abdul Salam falls ill with cancer, and Maryam catches a thief, who tried to steal a woman's bag.
As Hosni scolds Badia for talking to the restaurant's customers, Hoda gets angry at her younger sister for defending Omar and leaves her mother's house. On the other hand, Maryam works with the police and starts chasing criminals.
As Adel promises Badia promises to find a suitable job for her degree, Omar's father dies. Omar's wife celebrates the opening of the beauty center, and Marwan attends the party despite his mother's reluctance because of her hatred of Hoda's family, who stole her husband's money.
As Marwan gets to know Adel and Wegdani during the party, Adel tells Ahlam about her husband's infidelity (affair). Nisreen visits Marwan in his company and asks him to work for her company.

As Marwan rescues Hoda from the elevator that stopped while she was in it, a woman dies after being poisoned by eating food in Hoda's restaurant, which is run by Hussein. Maryam investigates the case, and Laila admits that Arafa was the one who put the poison.
Badia goes to Amal's salon and asks her to stay with her, but she kicks her out. The police are still investigating the poisoning case. As for Marwan, he demands his house from Nisreen's father, which was seized by him.

Abdel Muti divorces Amal, and she calls Adel to be by her side in her crisis, but while being on his way the police arrest him. As Souad reconciles with Marwan and gives him his father's house, Hoda reconciles with Omar and his mother.
