Fahmy controls the life of his wife Maryam, whereas Sherihan has the upper hand over her husband Kamel, and Radwa provides for her household and her husband.

Maryam learns of Fahmy's infidelity, and Sherihan also learns that Kamel has cheated on her with a young girl, after which Taheyya asks Maryam to confront the girl whom Fahmy is seeing. Heidi warns Radwa because of Nora's stay in her home.

As Kamel asks Sherihan to forgive him, she refuses and asks for a divorce, but he blackmails her. Meanwhile, Taheyya asks Maryam to change for the sake of her husband, Fahmy.

As Tamer tries to get close to Sherihan, Maryam starts her war on Faten, the girl Fahmy is seeing, and approaches her with the aim of becoming her friend, while her real intent is different.

Maryam tells Taheyya that she's happy because she's gotten close to Faten, whom she feels is her friend. As Laila decides not to marry Yahya because of his unfaithfulness, Sherihan intervenes to solve the matter.

As Nora helps Ali write the script of an episode, he cheats on Radwa with Nora. Meanwhile, Kamel learns about Sherihan and Tamer's relationship.

Ali becomes addicted to narcotic drugs again, while an illicit affair develops between him and Nora, causing Radwa to grow suspicious of the matter. Elsewhere, Laila learns about her mother Sherihan's decision to divorce Kamel, and Faten gets upset as Fahmy stops seeing her.

Radwa's suspicion increases after learning that Nora has helped Ali in writing the episodes of the new series, whereupon she asks Nora to leave the house. Meanwhile, Maryam offers to help Lubna after learning of her husband Raafat's abuse of her.

Faten tells Maryam that she is pregnant with Fahmy's child. On the other hand, Radwa learns of Ali's return to addiction and asks him to go back to the rehabilitation center for treatment, but he refuses after selling the series he wrote.

As Maryam lies to Fahmy, telling him that she is a cancer patient, Sherihan learns that Kamel has contracted AIDS after his affair with Jamila. Meanwhile, Nora takes advantage of Ali's love for her and has him transfer a large sum of money to her, and Radwa learns that Nora is an addict.

Nawal threatens Sherihan to make her stay away from her son Tamer. As everyone learns of Kamel's illness, they turn away from him. Elsewhere, Radwa tells Ali that Nora's real name is Nagla and that she killed her friend and assumed her identity, after which Nora kills Akram.

Maryam learns that her husband Fahmy is the one who caused their daughter's death because of his cheating on her with Amal. Kamel asks Sherihan to kill him so he'd be rid of the torment of his illness. Lubna cooperates with Maryam to get rid of their husbands. Ali survives Nora's attempt to kill him.
