The events revolve around the house of the head of the town (Bahr) who rules (Kafr al-Nasara), and because he is an unjust ruler in the eyes of some and a rival to the masters in sovereignty in the eyes of others and a seeker of revenge, conspiracies are hatched around him through magic and treachery, and the events reveal that the house has been cursed since (Bahr's) father ruled Kafr al-Nasara.
