Falak returns with her children to the house of her ancestors, Sheda House, which was cursed because of its ancient residents killing people to eat their meat during the Al-Mustansiriya Hardship. Mukhtar is surprised by the appearance of talismans in the house of his two daughters.
Fayza begins to see frightening hallucinations,while Sheikh Abdul Qadir warns Mukhtar against the evil forces chasing him after the disappearance of the talismans. Falak continues her plan to take revenge on the Mukhtar family, and invokes the forces of evil with the help of Seif.
Falak's daughter fights with her because of what she is doing. It becomes clear that there is a curse chasing Seif, where the soul of Aslan, Falak's grandfather will take over his body when he reaches the age of thirty. While Mukhtar visits Falak's house, who threatens him with revenge.
Wajad buys Seif's medicine from Mona's pharmacy, and Mona discovers the difficulty of Seif's condition. While a strange entity controls Seif's body and warns Falak of what she is doing. Nasser suffers with his wife Maha and his two daughters from his ex-wife. Falak returns to practicing witchcraft.
Nasser is surprised by the disappearance of his son Karim after snakes appear in the house. While Abdul Qadir confirms that this is the result of black magic. The child appears again in his home, after Mukhtar and Salem intervene to protect a journalist in the neighborhood.
Salem is being chased by extremist elements. Nasser and Basma take both the announcer, Yara, and her fellow photographer, Mina, on a tour of the library. After Mina takes some pictures, Basma's picture appears as a ghost on his camera.
Nasser, Yara and Mina have nightmares about the presence of evil spirits in the library. A stranger talks with Mukhtar about discovering the truth about himself and then disappears. While Falak makes an agreement with her grandfather's soul by sacrificing Seif's body in exchange for her to control the universe.
Mukhtar scolds his children because they neglect their mother. As Falak recalls the murder of one of her lovers by the forces that control Seif, she remembers her pledge with the spirit of her grandfather Aslan, to return to the house in exchange for obtaining powers and control of property.
Falak exchanges accusations with Mukhtar over the murder of his brother, and it becomes clear that they had a relationship in the past. As Ahmed ignores his father's warnings and approaches Falak, Salem regrets neglecting his mother. The two journalists visit Nasser's secret library with him.
As Yara and Mina prove the existence of a ghost in the library to Nasser, they discover the disappearance of mysterious books from the basement. Mona mediates with Mukhtar to hire Salem, and Falak remembers her attempts to break the curse in the past, while strange powers return to control Seif.
Mukhtar waits for the results of his wife's tests, while Nasser's daughters suffer from his wife's control. Najat sees Falak's card with Ahmed, and he orders her to remain silent. Falak recalls her pregnancy out of wedlock from her cousin, and her subsequent marriage to him.
Falak remembers Amir's opportunism, his insults to her and her mother, her mother's mysterious murder, and his seizure of her property. An unknown person accuses Mona of selling a prohibited drug without permission. Nasser is convinced of Amr's project, and Amir returns to Sheda House.
Falak makes a deal with Amir to hide his identity from their children and that he's living next to them in exchange for following her orders. Salem works as a driver for Mukhtar, and Amr refuses to comply with Ahmed's incitement to turn against their father and stop his charity work.
Nasser hides the book “The Sun of Knowledge” in his library. As Ahmed accepts to work for Falak as a lawyer and broker, he helps her to buy the shops in the area. Salem is chased by a person from an extremist organization called Abu Fouda. Ahmed promises Romany a commission in exchange for his help.
Youssef the journalist offers Mukhtar job opportunities for the youth of the neighborhood, and the latter doubts his motives. As Seif escapes from the house and meets Romany, Falak rebukes him for repeating this. Ahmed's love for his wife changes.
Falak refuses to let Seif communicate with the residents, and Ahmed insults Salem in the cafe. As Seif and Wajad meet with Tawfiq, Salem protects Wajad after being harassed. Mona saves Seif from an epileptic fit, and Amir introduces himself to Mukhtar as an investor.
Mukhtar is suspicious of Amir's motives to invest in the area. As a dervish orders the people of the neighborhood to dig to find antiquities, it's revealed that he is Falak's spy, and she ordered him to monitor the neighborhood and inform her about any stranger.
Seif visits the library and befriends Nasser, and Ahmed incites Amr to work with him. As Yara and Mina visit the house, Falak forces them to change the gossip around her house, while Mina takes a picture of Falak. Abdul Qadir gets beaten by the people of the neighborhood after he did bad things.
Abdul Qadir announces that his doppelganger is the one who committed these acts and that Falak is behind that. Wajad visits the library and asks Nasser for historical books, and questions her mother's grudge against the people of the neighborhood despite their good treatment of her and Seif.
Falak has nightmares, and Salem reveals his past to Mona and Abdul Qadir. Seif discovers his mother evilness with his repeated visits to Nasser. Youssef despises Nasser and his library. Mina and Yara declare that Nasser’s library and the house are built over a cemetery from the era of the Mamluks.
Nasser agrees with Mina and Yara to help them infiltrate the house, after which he returns to hide a box containing books about magic. Mukhtar agrees with Samara to monitor the people of Sheda House. Ahmed fails to turn his mother against Mukhtar. Amir buys three shops for Falak.
Amir reassures Falak by obtaining a shop contract in the area belonging to a foreign owner who Ahmed failed to obtain. Samara agrees with one of his acquaintances to work as a maid for Falak. Samara frightens Abu Fouda to keep him away from the neighborhood.
Samara conveys news of Falak to Mukhtar. Nasser refuses Maha's insistence on him to dig under the library and kicks her out, while Romany begins excavating. Mukhtar reprimands Ahmed for his complicity with Falak, after which he recalls memories of Hassan's marriage to Falak.
Samara reprimands the thugs of the neighborhood and promises to help them. Salem tells Nasser that he saw his daughter with a man and hands him her phone after he got it from her escort who stole it. Fayza reprimands her son for treating his wife badly.
As Nasser reprimands Farah for what she did, she tells him that he failed to take care of them. Mukhtar reproaches Romany for excavating under his house.As Mukhtar promises Tawfiq his near reconciliation with his immigrant son, he returns to reminisce about the past.
Abu Fouda burns Nasser's car and blackmails Salem to return to the organization. Mukhtar proves the antiquity of the area's buildings, which spoils Falak's plan of demolishing. Bedir brings a lost child to Falak's house as per her orders. Nasser searches for the book of spells of Falak's grandfather.
Falak's intention to sacrifice the girl becomes clear, and Bedir turns against Falak after she insults him and turns him down. Nasser tells Mukhtar the story of Aslan's killing of his brother Asil during Al-Mustansiriya Hardship, his practice of magic, and his burial of a treasure.
Nasser tells Mukhtar that Asil used magic and dopplers to hide his treasure and the book The Origin of Life. It turns out that Pakinam, Samara's alleged wife, is an undercover broadcaster named Samar. Nasser and Mukhtar tell Falak about the failure of her plan.
Mukhtar tells Falak that Ahmed is deceiving her, and that the area is being transferred into public benefit. Aslan's soul punishes Falak for retracting their agreement and locks her soul inside the house. Nasser, Mukhtar, Salem, Abdul Qadir and Mona find the book The Origin of Life after breaking in the Sheda House and save Seif from Aslan's curse.
