A car accident happens to Yahia and Abbas, and the doctor tells everyone that Yahia suffers from brain cancer. Meanwhile, Selim asks Lee not to tell Yahia that he killed Maryam so that his health does not deteriorate.

Durra sides with the Joseph's son after being beaten by his father for robbing passers-by on the road under threat and takes him to the police station to file a complaint. As Selim tries to commit suicide, Joseph saves the latter and confronts him of killing Maryam.

As Selim and Joseph go to visit Yahia after he wakes up from the coma, El Marouki asks Yahia for his forgiveness as he was leaving the hospital.

Yahia travels to Algeria, and works in the smuggling field with El Marouki's friend after discovering Maryam's killer. Meanwhile, Joseph asks Durra to forgive him for his infidelity.

After discovering that Issa is dealing drugs, Yahia requests to quit work, and meets Samar, his manager's daughter. Meantime, Baya goes to Algeria to meet Yahia.

As Baya returns to Tunisia after Yahia refuses to meet her, Selim and Joseph go to take her back. Meanwhile, someone burns down Yahia's house.

Yahia is surprised by Khadija when she comes with El Marouki for a visit in Algeria. Meanwhile, Joseph and Selim have an argument, and the former is upset for his son's grief after his dog was killed by the municipality.

When Ashour asks El Marouki to tell Yahia that the former wants him to marry his daughter, Samar, he agrees. Meantime, Ashour guards his daughter out of fear for her while, Selim's father goes bankrupt and his son tries to help him.

As Joseph fights with Durra because of his son, she is shocked by his bad treatment of her. Meanwhile, Yahia returns to Tunisia with his manager and daughter. Baya tells Samar about her relationship with Yahia and of his previous imprisonment in the case of killing his friend.

Yahia blames Baya when he returns and fights with her because of what she told Samar. Meanwhile, Selim's father dies after his bankruptcy, and Durra is exposed to a scandal in front of the invitees after Joseph doesn't show up at the wedding party.

As Yahia arrives to Tunisia, and discovers that Samar was hiding in the car, he takes her to Joseph, but Baya sees them and tells Samar's brother. Meanwhile, Ashour asks Yahia to marry his daughter in order to preserve her honor.

When Yahia marries Samar and the wedding takes place in Algeria, Baya blames the former for abandoning her and commits suicide in her room.

As Issa succeeds in saving Baya from suicide, he asks her to marry him, and she agrees. Selim starts liking Durra after she starts getting closer to him.

As Yahia and Samar return to Tunisia after learning about Ashour's drug trade, Samar starts to be attracted to the former. Yahia advises Baya to stay away from Issa.

The relationship between Samar and Yahia tensifies due to her leaving without permission. Joseph's son, Momo is involved in a robbery and murder of a foreign woman during a robbery with his two friends.

The relationship between Durra and Selim develops, and Joseph is saddened by Momo's travel with his mother to Dubai. Elsewhere, Yahia kidnaps Issa to take him back to Algeria.

As Joseph brings his son to the police, they prove his innocence. Durra asks Selim to marry her after they profess their love, but he refuses to protect Joseph's feelings.

When Joseph returns to El Hanan, they decide to pay attention to Momo as soon as he leaves the reformatory. Durra tells Selim that there is no longer any obstacle to their love.

Issa kidnaps Baya because of her love for Yahia and asks the latter to meet him in exchange for releasing her. Elsewhere, El Marouki is shot while he was on his way to save his daughter.

When Joseph tells Durra that Selim has killed Maryam, she fights with Selim, who accidentally gets stabbed and dies. Yahia dies during his burial of Selim while Durra turns herself in to the police.
