Umm Nafeh (Nafeh's mother) lives with her children, and as Saber comes to betroth Souad, Umm Nafeh thinks that he is Umm Khaled's husband, so she asks him to bring medicine, gas, and food, after which Maher finally tells her that he is just a suitor.
As Maher fails his studies, his mother gets angry. Umm Nafeh calls Saber and invites him to propose to her daughter, after which the police come to arrest Saber on charges of fraud.
As Saber takes his hearing-impaired aunt to Souad's house to ask for her hand in marriage, the aunt insists that Souad do the housework to prove that she is worthy of marriage, so Souad kicks them out.
Umm Nafeh asks Saber to bring her some household essentials in return for making him see Souad, but she goes back on her word, whereupon Saber disguises himself as a journalist to see her.
Saber goes to Soad's mother so that she could tell him about the marriage requirements, but Nafeh invites him to watch an international match with his friends in the living room, whereupon Souad gets angry and cuts off the electricity.
Umm Nafeh goes to visit Khaled, and Saber brings some supplies to Nafeh in exchange for seeing Souad.
Umm Adel tells Umm Nafeh that the Saudi man Abu Khamis wants to marry her daughter, and she agrees. When Souad learns about the matter, she refuses to marry the Saudi man despite his wealth.
With the help of the doorman Waheed, Saber disguises himself as the judge who will officiate at the wedding of Souad and the old Saudi man, and Souad asks her brother Nafeh to refuse the marriage.
As Umm Nafeh's requests increase, Saber decides to look for an additional job and works as a fisherman so that he can meet all the requests. Nafeh undertakes a project with his friend, but the municipality stands up to them.
In addition to his main job, Saber works as a taxi driver, and the policeman comes to interrogate Saber after Waheed tells him where he is.
The policeman orders the old man to stay in Umm Nafeh's house until he recovers, upon which Umm Nafeh asks her son to find a solution to get the man out of the house.
The old man interferes in the house's affairs, angering Umm Nafeh, while Waheed convinces the old man not to leave the house.
Saber decides to take his aunt to Umm Nafeh's house so that she could rid her of the old man, but when she likes him and wants him to marry her, she acts like him and sits next to him.
Umm Adel asks Umm Nafeh to convince her children to donate blood to her sister's sick children. Umm Nafeh discovers that Saber is sick, so she kicks him out and refuses to let him marry Souad, and it turns out that the results of his tests are wrong.
Umm Nafeh accepts Saber after confirming that her daughter is sick, prepares for the wedding, and asks Umm Adel to find a suitable bride for her son Nafeh.
Umm Nafeh asks Saber that he and Souad get married in her apartment so that her daughter could stay with her, while Nafeh suffers from being rejected by everyone because he does not have a job or money.
Saber refuses to live in Umm Nafeh's house and rents an apartment in the same building, while Nafeh and Maher help him move the furniture until the wedding takes place.
