During his stay in Senegal, the Moroccan merchant Adnan marries Annatto, a beautiful woman of mixed race. Their marriage was for pleasure, but the young Muslim man breaks the rule and brings his wife with him to Morocco despite the expiration of the marriage contract, which causes Annatto to face all kinds of difficulties between the two countries and cultures.
