As Alma sets out on her perilous 24-hour journey across an unruly Manhattan in pursuit of her son Christian, time is running out. Wilson and competitor Parco make separate runs for governor, hoping to win over the major gangs in the DMZ.

Before their first discussion at City Hall, Parco and Wilson gather last-minute support, and Alma desperately looks for a way out.

Alma is quite clear about who she is standing up for. Skel can't decide between Parco and Tenny.

Alma arranges for a secure exit from the demilitarized zone. Skel has to decide which of the people he loves is more important.
