Bomb disposal officers Lana Washington and Joel Nutkins are asked to investigate a bomb factory inside a London housing estate, but there is no information about the bomb makers.

As far-right group English Flag takes to the streets and attempts to make the Islamists take the fall for the attack, Lana Washington tries to figure out who is responsible for these horrific attacks.

Lana has a hard time dealing with the risks of her job, but finds support in her relationship with Karl. After a terrorist group states that they are responsible for the attack on the mosque, the bombing campaign is compounded with an attack targeting an LGBTQ+ bar.

After a counter-terrorism officer is killed, Lana and the Expo team do their best to stop the bombers before they cause any more harm,while her fears grow that someone close to her may be involved in the bombing campaign.

Lana tries to cope with her personal loss and her failure to stop the bombing. As counter-terrorism officers identify the attacker and start a manhunt, Lana is determined to track him down.

A daring hunt for the brains behind the bombing campaign thrusts Lana's Expo team into grave danger, as they struggle to deal with a complex device planted at the campaign headquarters of the Progressive Alliance, while Lana tells Karl something important.
