Following a car accident, Danny loses his cherished dog, Skipper. Danny's father's marriage to Ann Dennis, who took the place of his mother who passed away, only made his sorrow worse. After learning of Danny's hatred toward her, Ann tries to regain his love and assists him in purchasing Rusty, the vicious dachshund.
