When the conflict in Lebanon breaks out, Zoheir, a young seaman working on a cargo ship bound for South Africa, learns that his pregnant wife has gone missing. He tries to return home. However, following the bombings, his wife and a nurse transport newborns outside of the area in an ambulance in an attempt to rescue them. The two then try to locate each other in a war-torn region.
