Rahma visits Fadl, the psychiatrist, to help her overcome her grief over the death of her father Salem. Her husband Omar supports her in her ordeal, and her cousin Nadia returns from traveling to gather the family members to open Salem's will.
After the lawyer opens Salem's will, he announces Rahma's acquisition of the company's biggest share. As Omar tries to convince Nadia to sell her share to him, Rahma turns to her ex-lover, Dr. Basil, to help her overcome her depression.
Farida is shocked after she learns that her daughter is back again with Basil, and she is afraid that Nadia is going to tell Omar about it. On the other hand, Farida meets Basil and tells him that she suspects Omar is behind what is happening to Rahma.
Rahma begins her therapy sessions with Basil despite the objection of Omar, who is angry that Farida stopped a business deal with the company.
Basil tries to contact Fadl to help Rahma, which angers Omar, who quarrels with Farida about managing the company. Nadia tries to push Rahma out of her depression, but things get worse.
As Nadia tries to belittle Amal, Amal gets closer to the veterinarian Ihab. On the other hand, Basil gets to know the wife of Omar's father, and things continue to be tense between Rahma and Omar.
Rahma tells Basil about her father's cruelty towards her and his different treatment towards Nadia. On the other hand, Farida quarrels with Rahma for neglecting the company and leaving room for Omar to take control of it.
Amal accompanies Rahma to their old house, where Rahma remembers her father, and Nadia tells Omar about Farid's offer to buy her share in the company.
Rahma tells Basil that she suspects that Omar and Nadia are in a relationship, and remembers that she deliberately burned Nadia's room when she was young, which caused the whole house to burn down. Omar decides to stop using Rahma and refuses to continue his father's plan against her.
Rahma tells Nadia that she is the reason for the fire in the past and accuses Omar of cheating on her. On the other hand, Nadia tells Omar about Basil and Rahma’s previous relationship.
Ihab tells Nadia that Omar has injected hormones into the farm animals, and Nadia decides to inform the police. At the same time, Omar confronts Basil about his relationship with Rahma and threatens him; however, Rahma tries to leave Omar and thinks about committing suicide.
As Amal saves Rahma from committing suicide and takes her to the hospital, Omar decides to divorce Rahma to atone for what he did to her. Basil stops treating Rahma after her mother agrees to admit her to a mental hospital. Moreover, Farida confesses to Rahma that she has killed her father.
